Hi guys - newbie here! (Grady)
Posted by: gradystreet - 02-15-2011, 09:42 PM - Forum: Introductions - Replies (16)

Hi guys--

Grady Street here. I live in Reston VA but visit a friend of mine in Harrisburg often. Cody and a friend of his (blond guy - don't remember his name?) were drooling over my car, so I figured I'd have to post here and harass you guys a little bit. I have a fully optioned 2009 BMW 328i x drive wagon which I picked up in Germany late summer 2009 with BMW's European delivery program. I will post pics for you guys shortly.

 Madison Motorshow 2011!

Its that time again in celebrating ten years of MM, lets make this our best show yet!

Our annual car show is fast approaching, and we want to see YOU there!! Come join the crew from Madison Motorsports and show off your ride.

Saturday, April 2nd
10 AM to 3 PM
C4 Lot, on the JMU Campus
located off of Cantrell Avenue

$10 to show, $5 for MMers
FREE to spectate

Import ÔÇó Euro ÔÇó Domestic ÔÇó Classic ÔÇó 4├ù4 ÔÇó Motorcycle

Various companies and vendors will be on-site to support the show! As always, our good friends at Subaru North America will be present with their latest go-fast goodness. Other local groups such as Mid Atlantic Motorwerkes and the JMU Alternative Fuels Lab are planning on attending as well!

We have also partnered with CatsÔÇÖ Cradle, an animal shelter local to the Harrisonburg community. A portion of the proceeds from the show will go to CatsÔÇÖ Cradle to help them further their goal of helping cats and dogs in need around the Valley.

So get out those calendars and save the date! Come on out and support MM and Cats Cradle, show off your ride, and spend the day hanging out with like-minded enthusiasts of all ages!

Any questions? Please feel free to contact carshow@mmsports.org at any time!

Let's get the word out early this year!! Feel free to post the image below to every forum you know of (and let us know here, to avoid duplicates). If people want the web address to visit, point them to www.mmsports.org/carshow.

We've asked Valley Dyno to come out, but they are unable to attend on the 2nd. So... if anyone knows of another portable dyno company nearby-ish, please let Cabell know so he can contact them ASAP. Thanks!

Also -- with the whole "MM-X" ten-year celebration. That will be in the evening after the show. We're still figuring out details on that and will post details in a new thread as we make plans.

Hey guys my name is Dan; junior SMAD major (converged media) and poli sci minor. I drive a 2010 Impreza 2.5i. Haven't done much work to it. Installed aftermarket sway bars in November (the 2010s don't even come with a rear sway). Also installed an AVO throttle controller because the stock setting on the throttle is crap. I have plans to do an intake and exhaust. I've heard rumors on forums about aftermarket intakes causing the new Imprezas to run rich, if anyone has more info on that it would be much appreciated.
