PICS OF MY 2009 TOURING
Posted by: gradystreet - 02-19-2011, 11:34 PM - Forum: Appearance/Cosmetic - Replies (2)

Hey guys, sorry for delay on the pics...

Here are a few of my 2009 E91 - special order mojave metallic with saddle brown dakota.

The car has every option except sports package. I did European delivery in Munich in September 2009.

The car has been a blast although not as much fun in Virginia as Germany where I drove 135 mph on the Autobahn...

You can see the car with it's German tags on the showroom floor at the BMW World flagship dealership in Munich and also parked out front of the dealership the first night after delivery.

Cheers!

This is how we do it
Posted by: WRXtranceformed - 02-18-2011, 12:11 PM - Forum: Lounge - Replies (9)

Itt's Friday night
And I feel all right
The party's here on the West side
So I reach for my 40 and I turn it up
Designated driver take the keys to my truck
Hit the shore 'cause I'm faded
Honeys in the street say, "Monty, yo we made it!"
It feels so good in my hood tonight
The summertime skirts and the guys in Kani
All the gang bangers forgot about the drive-by
You gotta get your groove on, before you go get paid
So tip up your cup and throw your hands up
And let me hear the party say

I'm kinda buzzed and it's all because...
This is how we do it

Yeah it's Friday... and in the 70s here in Charlotte. So to celebrate, I need your best 90s music. Ready go!

What are kids usin' these days for class laptops?
Posted by: Apoc - 02-16-2011, 12:23 PM - Forum: Lounge - Replies (253)

Hopefully something small, light, relatively cheap and doesn't suck (read: atom). Eee? MacBook Air? Abacus?

Behemoth laptop and desktop are already on hand, so no need for a do-it-all machine.

 Turbo Truck?
Posted by: PDenbigh - 02-16-2011, 12:15 PM - Forum: Lounge - Replies (25)

I've been following Ford's new 3.5L Turbo 6 gas engine for the F-150 and find it really interesting. I am looking forward to test driving it and seeing what the mid-long term reviews of it are. If I were in the market for a new truck, I'd be an early adopter of this for sure.

Then again, I've always known and enjoyed turbo engines. The diesel turbos have been through hell and back too.

They did a "torture test" series which was pretty hard core - http://www.ford.com/trucks/f150/experiencef150/

Yeah yeah, it's done by ford so it's biased, yada yada. Biased or not, I was still impressed.

What do you think? Would you drive a 365hp/420ftlb 22mpg turbo F150?

Peter

...just Emma. Don't ask me where the name came from, I have no idea. I could write a bunch of shit here, but you probably aren't going to read it, so I'll keep it short. I was 16 when I first saw the 916 and it was then that I decided I'd have to eventually own a Ducati superbike. Now that I'm all growed up and have more money than good sense, I saw fit to blow a bunch of it on a 2008 848. I didn't really intend to buy now, but it was pretty much impossible to say no because I got a ridiculous deal on it and RJ agreed to go get it. It's stock except for a smaller front sprocket, mirror extenders and a Corbin seat. My other two bikes will be for sale come spring. On to the clicky pow!
