I know a lot of you have good jobs and what not over the summer. But since I've been looking for jobs I have run across an offer that I'd take if I was a student. Sugar Grove Naval installation in WV, is hiring summer help. Mostly clerks, simple paperwork stuff. The pay is pretty good like starting at 17k-39k. Since you all probably don't know where Sugar Grove is, its over the mountain range from Woodstock. Its not terribly far. For those of you that have been up to Reddish Knob, you can see Sugar Grove from there, just look for the satellite dishes. Wikipedia Sugar Grove for more info about the installation. Its pretty correct.

Like a thousand angry bisons they came forth, tumbling downwards upon us from the hills of Bavaria. Black Forest beasts, they spread like the armies before them to conquer souls both willing and terrified. From the Green Hell they arose, and now the Americas they reside, conformity their calling card or be it death. One community particularly subjugated, their discourse resembling a hive mind of propaganda and group think, their minds broken under the might of the M-Powered Messerschmitt.
These souls cannot be saved.

Since the on-season is upon us, I'm putting together a blog post about track etiquette and wanted some input/ideas. Here's what I've come up with so far, please add anything else you can think of.
General
*If you borrow tools, return them promptly. Don't make someone chase you down at the end of the weekend to get their stuff back.
*If you see someone frantically thrashing on their car, do not interrupt them for idle chat. Only interrupt if you can help them.
*Do not miss the driver's meeting
*Show up to class on time.
*Wave to corner workers on cool down laps.
*Don't be a dick to grid workers
Car Specific
*If someone wants to hear how much power your car has or what your lap time is, they'll ask.
*If someone is on your ass, they got there because they are faster than you
*If you gave a point by to a car that is significantly slower than yours in a straight line, lift to allow him to get by.
*Do not ride someone's bumper if they are not giving you a point by. If someone's holding you up and is not heeding blue flags, pull in to get a gap.
*Pay attention to blue flags and let people by. Better yet, let people by before you're getting blue flags waved at you.
Motorcycles
*Do not block pass people
*Give people a hand getting their bike on and off their truck/trailer
*If you are having trouble passing someone cleanly because they have more power than you, do not make a risky pass on them. Pull in and get some space
*Apologize if you dive-bombed, block passed, or otherwise pulled a jerk move on someone.

Okay so the BRR-SCCA Test and Tune is Saturday March 19th. This is an opportunity for all those upgrades/maintenance youve done in the season to work its magic, as well as shake off all those cobwebs of staying inside and drinking all winter. The test and tune format is a lot like a regular autocross, just with a few more runs and no counting for points.
The Championship Points #1 event is Sunday March 20th. This is wehere you get to talk shit and then hopfully live up to it!
Both of these are at Verona, and I will be doing both events to hopefully work on improving the setup on my car, and of course get some much needed seat time. The best thing of all, is it costs $35 for both days if your an SCCA member. Thats $17.50 a day hock: . And only $45 for both days if your not a member, still only $22.50, and that $10 can go towards an SCCA membership if you want one.
Sign up is here, you pay AT the event:

I have a 90 that I need a top for. Soft or hard, doesnt matter just needs to keep out water! I am trying to autocross on the 19th so hit me up! Or even if someone has a spare that they can lend me till I can afford to foot the bill for the new one.

I noticed we have no sticky for all of this stuff. I went through my garage and have some Madison Motorsports equipment that belongs to THE CLUB. I think noting a sticky with all our stuff and an update every time it changes hands should be required with a note for currently who has it.
1. Long-Acre Smart Camber gauge (Don Fitzpatrick)
2. NOS Ntercooler kit (do we want to sell this? It was for our GRM challenge cars I beleive) (Don Fitzpatrick)

Alright so ive been looking around at seats and at some point ill be upgrading to a Halo Seat, so I figured id put em up for sale. These are absoultely 2 perfect pro2000s in black. They are within spec, and have many years of certification left. (and even when certs goes you just get a brace and theyll be fine). These are about $650 each new best price I have found. I will be selling them as a set or if two peoplpe want each they can split the cost, I am looking for $1000 or $500 each. No fading, no stains, comes with the lumbar supports, and have never been in an accident. I will be going with a Sparco Pro ADV that is a pro2000 with a halo. I love the pro2000s just want head safety if ill be going racing.
I am in no hurry, so absolutely no lowballs, ill consider offers, but most likely...no. Wouldnt be worth switching seats if I cant get this price. Save over $300 new (plus no taxes and shipping!)
I also have 9 (yes nine) 235/40/17 used RA1s. I bought em to use as they have plenty of life left (and people say they are quicker and quicker till they cord). I will sell each tire for $35 bucks, or $110 for a set of four. I bought a brand new set of Hoosier R6s so I no longer need these (*hopefully* ill be winning hoosier contingency). Any that dont get sold ill be using, so im not too upset if these arent bought.
I also have a bentley manual for e36s. Will let this go for $20 bucks
I have as well an e36 101 Performance handbook, which shows you exactly how to do a lot of the modifications in color. Perfect for 99% of enthusiasts $20 bucks

I'm signed up for Level 3, and a friend of mine from Charlottesville is doing Level 1.
Anyone else interested? They're using BMW S1000RRs as school bikes, which seems like too much fun to pass up.

Apparently I either sold back or threw out all my old finance books, and now I'm looking for some reference material. If any of you are still stuck with yours b/c the bookstore wouldn't buy it back, I'd love to take it off your hands. Basically just looking to brush up on basic corporate finance principles...
