Pit Bull Spooled Rear Stand - $100
Posted by: Apoc - 02-28-2011, 10:10 AM - Forum: For Sale/Trade, WTB - Replies (1)

Doubt it'll sell here, but I figured someone might be looking for one.

Spooled Rear Stand - in near perfect shape

I bought a Ducati, so this double-sided stand won't work for me anymore.

From Put Bull: "The Spooled Rear Stand lifts spool-equipped bikes. It is width adjustable to fit virtually all spool-equipped sport bikes. Same as Standard, SS and 999 Rear Stands except for interchangeable top supports. Sold complete with top supports."

1990 Miata: One Wheel Of Fury

Alright so my second car is now in my hands, white 1990 NA. 54k miles I am the third owner. She is not running but for $800 who cares? She needs a top and body work (passenger fender and door) so if any of you have any of that laying around let me know.

 Help me spend my money!

So after helping a few people find and buy cars recently, I'm getting my own search on. The budget is $5-6k, maybe a little more if I wait/save some.

I'm keeping the Miata and buying a car that doesn't suck as a daily driver. After I buy this _____, Miata is getting safety goodies and becoming the track toy.

What I want... hmm. Must be a 5-speed. Preferably a coupe, unless it's a bitchin sedan or hatch. I want four (or five) seats. I like RWD way more than FWD, but I'd at least consider something that mixed FWD + entertaining. Speaking of that, no boring shit. It can be slow but I want my commute to be more fun than say, a Camry LE. The kicker is that I want this to have a sense of luxury. The rattles, squeaks, road noise, etc. from the Miata really wear on me. Leather seats would be a nice touch. Heated leather seats would be win.

All signs point to an E36 325is/328is. I love the cars and would buy one no problem. Just wanted to see what else people would suggest in a similar combination of fun/lux.

Ideas?

Just a heads up, there is a trophy/memorabilia case opening at the OG Racing track store at Summit Point. We're looking for cool stuff to place in it and that one came to mind (2007 or 08? Worker of the Year Award) - if its on the wall in somebody's house thats cool, but I figured if its in the bottom of someone's closet this could be a fitting/visible spot for it (since JMU doesn't have a place for it - at least they didn't when I petitioned for it forever  )

Kumho Ecsta V710 - tirerack closeout

For those of you needing 225/45/17 R-comps, tire rack has a great price on the V710s.

Sure, they're from a 2008 production with the square shoulders but for $79 a pop, why the hell not? I was budgeting myself about that much for used R-comps.

Hey Everyone,

My name is David Adam and I'm a freshman student at JMU. Just a little information about myself: I'm a finance major, am in Phi Sigma Pi, and am a member of JMU's Triathlon Club. I'm originally from Chicago, but am more recently from just outside of Baltimore. Obviously school comes first, but outside of academics, my free time goes to my car. While I haven't had it with me this year, I hope to bring it back after spring break as well as next year.

Now onto my car:

I drive a 2003 Infiniti G35 Coupe (nicknamed Isabelle) Big Grin

I bought the car last year. I had saved up from working all throughout high school and my father helped me out a little bit too with the purchase of the car. I am constantly tinkering with the car, cleaning it (inside and out), and try to wax it twice a month. I am very meticulous about keeping it pristine; I park far away from other cars and walk to avoid door dings (like many of you guys probably do too). Over the past year, I have done a lot of work to the car. Since I work at a large auto parts store, my friend works at a local Honda dealership, and I have access to a professional car garage back home, not much on the car is still stock. My friend and I have done ALL the work on our cars (he has an '04 s2k).

Modifications:

Tein S-Tech Springs
Megan Front Camber Arms
SPC Rear Camber Arms w/ Toe Adjustment
19" Axis Milano Wheels painted matte black (very aggressive stance)
GTSPEC Front Strut Bar
GTSPEC Rear Strut Bar
K&N CAI
Motordyne 5/16 Iso Thermal Plenum Spacer
Invidia Test Pipes (non-resonated)
HKS True-Dual Exhaust
Tuned by COBB Accessport

Visual Modification:

Gialla Front Gill
30% Tint all around
2006 Bi-Xenon Headlight Upgrade
Full LED conversion of all interior and exterior lights (pure white)
Trunk has been debadged

 Indycar to pay $5million to..

any driver from another series who can win their last race this season.

Kind of a cool idea, apparently they want to prove their drivers are the best. But it would be hilarious if they had 5 drivers from other racing forms that could beat their drivers and the idea backfired.

 G-Force - April 16

Its that time of year again, MM's semi-annual karting trip will be Saturday April 16th, from 11-1. This means that you need to plan to arrive by 10:30 for the formation of teams and drivers meeting.

As usual cost is $30 for current students (who have paid dues) and $40 for alumni/friends/family etc. Money will be collected at meetings, cash or check, or you can PayPal us at madisonmotorsports@gmail.com. If you PayPal please include an extra dollar or two for fees.

This event will be first come first serve, we will reserve 20 spots each for current students and alumni and your name will go on the list when we have money from you. If it fills up, sorry, thats the way it is. Additionally, your payment will be non-refundable because two trips in a row we've had people bail at the last minute and the club left covering the extra cost, sorry, but thats how it has to be.

In about a month we'll open it up to friends/family but for now only current students and alumni - send us your monies and we'll put you on the list.
