my friend is currently repairing his BMW 325is. His control rod on his lef trear is slightly bent and that's what he is on now. I'm gonna try to get a few pics up and ask for assistance if we get stuck. Probably gonna take place early next week. Any advice before this begins?

also, what is common maintenace that should be done on a 150k 325is?

What basic tool sets (wrenchs, ratchets, etc) or other tools do you guys use, that you absolutely need. I'm in the need for a set, and I'm tired of running around borrowing stuff.

Hey guys, if anyone (or their family) has a full-size Dodge truck I have a Mopar toolbox for sale. It "fits" a 00-05 Dodge Ram but it could fit another make of full-size or an older Dodge. It says "Mopar" on it but that can be removed. It is a 2 door diamond plate chrome box. I think it is made by Delta (bling bling). Anyways, it comes with the brackets for a Dodge and the keys, etc. Looks really nice MSRP new - $500 ItÔÇÖs had about 3 months of light use. $300 obo.

Yeah, I didn't think the day would come so soon. Got a replacement, and as attached as I am to the car, there really isn't a reason to keep it. Who knows, I still might keep it...but I hate the word "feeler." I'm putting it up here (and nowhere else) because I'd like it if one of you guys had it.

Just started surface rust in two spots on the rocker panels recently - can be taken care of easily I'm sure. Other than that, rust free.
Just passed NJ inspection last month.

Major maintenance/mod dates
118k: Bilstein Sport shocks, H&R Sport springs (Turner Jstock springs 3 months after that)
130k: Tranny swap (new clutch assembly, master/slave cyls, driveshaft center support bearing, flex disc, shifter bushings, resurfaced flywheel, 75k on tranny then)
135k: Ground Control suspension - 350f/475r
145k: New control arms, tie rod assemblies (inner and outer), M3 control arm bushings (all Lemfoerder)
150k: Full tuneup (plugs/wires/cap/rotor/o2 sensor)
157k: Front brakes (325i vented discs/wider calipers, Hawk HP+ (ridiculously loud) pads - mildy warped the rotors already

Mods worth mentioning:
- Full plastic bumper conversion including front and rear valences and iS spoilers, fresh paint. Rear valence is kind of a hack job.
- Old school Recaro LS seats...recovering wouldn't hurt but they're not too bad. Padding on driver's seat bottom is pretty shot.
- Z3 1.9 shifter
- Euro ellipsoids up front
- 330mm Victor steering wheel with horn button (turn signal tab is busted)
- Dynomax muffler, which is cheap but doesn't sound too bad
- Sony CD player and Alpine 5.25's all around
- Countless little things, and I'm sure I've forgotten stuff too

Known issues:
- Rear main seal is shot. Had the seal, didn't install it when I did the tranny conversion, regret it now. Leaks pretty bad.
- Engine runs great, but burns a little oil.

Car will be sold WITHOUT the BBS RX's, rollbar, and smoked tails. The wheels it will have are black steel wheels with brandy new Falken Ziex 512's (few thousand miles) and the old Ferrari replica wheels with H&R hubcentric spacers to match and near-dead AVS es100's.

I'll have the car in NoVA for a little longer if you want to see it, but it'll be going back up to Jersey in the not too distant future.
