We had an awesome turnout considering the weather wasnt perfect. This was the best car show we've had yet that I've been too. We had a (human) truck pull with habitat for humanity, free red bull in the morning, a bunch of raffle prizes, and over 70 cars registered for the event, plus many more that didnt. Hopefully next year we wont have any conflicting schedules and some of you guys can make it down. Here is the gallery with pictures from the show: http://forum.carclubvt.com/gallery2.php?g2_itemId=15
The cookout/afterparty was awesome too. I'll get some pictures from that later.

Well, since this is the last week or the semester and everyone is certaintly stressed out, were going to sit all the school work and stress aside for a few hours and take some pictures/watch a movie. DJ had the great idea to get everyone together to get pictures of all our cars together. So were going to meet in the back of the big lot behind College Center (on the road by the bus stop that takes you to reservoir) at 6pm on Wednesday. There shouldn't be very many cars parked back in the back and we can park the cars and snap some pictures.
After the pictures we will migrate to ISAT 236 and watching Le Mans. It's been called the most authentic auto racing movie ever and is supposed to be awesome. I hope everyone can come out so we can get a shot of all the members cars together, and then watch an awesome driving movie!

| axle nut from HELL! |

So the motor blew in my Si, luckily I have a replacement motor. Unluckily, I haven't been able to get my axle nut off for a week.
It's been WD40'd, PB blasted, Seafoam'd. It's seen maybe an hour of continuous impact gunning. I've devoted a lot of time to jumping up and down on the breaker bar with a couple extensions. Shit just won't budge. I lowered it back on the ground with wheels on and someone on the brakes, and I'm giving enough torque to still turn the wheels, but not the axle nut.
Help? RJ? God?

1. 15" 400-watt Cerwin-Vega Home Theater Sub. This thing POUNDS. Guaranteed to piss off the neighbors. Not even a year old, has only seen minor action from time to time. I take good care of my toys. $300
2. Denon AVR-1905. 5.1/7.1 Receiver. I think it's like 80 watts/channel, but if any of you guys know your stereos, it's a Denon...... 'nuff said. Exc. condition as well. Universal remote (what doesn't these days?) $350
3. Infinity Alpha center channel. (2) 5 1/4 drivers and like a 1" tweeter. This isn't the entry level speaker, it was the hotness a couple years ago. $150
In addition, I have for sale a full size Glock .40 and a compact Taurus .45. If anyone is interested, shoot me a P.M. or call me. The only reason I'm selling my toys is because of the damn accident I was in back in Jan., otherwise I'd be keeping all of the above.
P.S. I'll also have two towers for sale as soon as I rebuild the mid-ranges on them. Digital Research speakers, (2) 8" drivers, a 5/14" mid and a 1" tweeter in each tower. Yes, that's a total of 4 8"...... hehehe. Beautiful cabinets.

| SUMMER PLANS!!! |

So, I had a Vault Soda at 3:05AM. That was a bad bad bad bad bad call. So I decided to start a thread about summer projects!!! TELL US ABOUT UM!!!
I'll start-
1. Finish the Daytona
2. Finish the Daytona
3. Finish the Daytona
Sorry, I'll be serious now!
I really will be focusing on finishing the Dayona project. The car will be running and on the road by the end of the first month of summer. I will be painted after I drive it for a week and make sure the engine does not need to come out again (lol) Once that is done I plan to be getting another Daytona Shelby (89+) to provide spare this and thats for the main car and a drivetrain for the Omni. I hope to have the Omni as a TII 5-speed car w/ a front mount intercooler by the end of summer. Running with stock boost. If I have enough money I plan to have the Koni coil-over setup on it and ready to roll to the track!! On a side note I hope to be playing with the Daytona's suspension over the summer too. Nothing to crazy. Just replacing worn out stuff. Nick and I are hoping to develop a Hybrid e30/Chrysler suspension to give the Daytona full coil-overs w/ inserts. This would allow the use of many different brands of strut instead of just Koni. We hope it will be good enough we can market them to the TD community. Most TDers are not BMW people, so I doubt it has been tried. Besides all that crazyness, I will be trying to get around to working on the Challenger some. I will be posting pictures of that car on here this weekend (Yay for finally owning my own digi-cam!)
Tell us about your fun and comment on mine!!!
