Pete's thread mentioned Carbon motors which reminded me of the new cop car they made:
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.carbonmotors.com/">http://www.carbonmotors.com/</a><!-- m -->
I think its pretty sweet looking. There are a few features I think are excessive but overall, pretty intimidating. Almost a bastard child of CTS-V with TL type S with some 300M mixed in.
thoughts?

Now that the '08 season is coming to a close, what is everyone's plan for '09 (or to get ready for '09).
Mine:
Spec Miata:
-Clutch
-Kill switch
-Fuel test port
Track/autox Miata
-replace race seats with stock seats and reinstall factory belts
-enjoy driving it on the street again
Trailer:
-hopefully build a tire rack

Right now a $25 billion bailout package is being flaoted for GM, Ford, and Chrysler. The reasoning for this is that 2 million jobs are tied up with those three companies (including suppliers) and it would be a major blow to the country if they went bankrupt.
I feel that the reason those companies are hurting is because of mismanagement and because of that these companies need to fail and be restructured. If they all go bankrupt, sure, jobs will be lost, but I'm sure someone will buy the companies and reorganize. Allowing the US auto industry to continue on crutches on the taxpayer dime is not going to transform them into healthy companies in the foreseeable future. Let them fail, so someone else can figure out how to rebuild stronger companies. I doubt any of the big three would end up being gone for good.

So I'm sure there aren't as many Caps fans as skins fans on this board, but I think there's enough of us to warrant a thread.
Anyway, the Caps are 9-4-2 and in first place of the SE division despite injuries, inconsistent goaltending, and a slumping Ovechkin. While at least one (perhaps two) of those seem to be ending, this offense seems to be heating up. A 5-1 victory over Carolina in Raleigh tonight is without a doubt the best victory this season (with the Vancouver game a close second), and the 4th victory in a row.
So, if all goes well, we'll be talking about them well into April/May
Go Caps!
Oh, and if anybody want's to go to a few games I figure this would be a good thread for it. I'm going to be home for a month or so in a few weeks, and I'll definitely be going to a few games. The friends that I drag there are always out in DC before and after so if any of you guys want to meet up before/after just post in here.

There is a feature to disable programs when the computer starts up. I used to access this by clicking "start", "run" and the typing something in and clicking "ok". Problem I can't remember what to type in. I want to restart the computer without a couple programs starting up as well.
Thanks in advance.

I drove my 99 Maniata down here to Fl.  What a fun car to drive on this trip. I do have to slow down to 50 when I get a call on the cell, but other than that I have been able to cruise at about 75-90 the whole way (I love my radar detector).
I have been in Ocala but was able to take a business related trip down to Boca Raton on Friday. On Saturday I went to a house called Vizcaya on Biscayne Bay. This house was built by James Deering in 1914-1916. Mr. Deering was the son of the founder of what was to be International Harvester. Really nice place to visit if you ever get down to Mijami.
Anyway, when we were done visiting Vizcaya it was about sunset. We drove out on Key Biscayne and took some really nice shots with the sunset in the background. I will post them when I get home.
