Madison Motorshow Spring 2009 - Sat. April 4th JMU Campus
Posted by: Goodspeed - 03-04-2009, 06:40 PM - Forum: Events - Replies (146)

Our last carshow in the spring of '08 was the best ever...lets make this one better!

The show will be held on Saturday, April 4th, 2009 from 11am - 4pm, in the C4 lot of the JMU campus. The entrance to the lot is off of Cantrell Avenue.

There will be the following classes: Import, Domestic, Euro, Classic, Motorcycle.

Like last year, we're having various vendors to support the show! Subaru North America/Bob Wade Subaru will be present with their cars! Also, we're partnering with the Make a Wish Foundation to raise money for their cause of helping children with life-threatening illnesses - come out and support them! We've asked others such as Whiplash Motorsports and Mid Atlantic Motorwerkes to attend as well!

Also: Valley Dyno Service of Elkton, VA will be out with their portable 2WD Dynojet to dyno cars! The cost is $75 for 2 pulls with HP/TQ readings. Those interested in dyno-testing must enter the show as well to receive a universal registration number for the show and dyno.

Spectators: Please be aware of the safety barriers around the dyno area, and be mindful of your surroundings and of others around you to ensure safe and secure operation of the portable dyno!

So please mark your calendars and come out to support MM and the Make a Wish Foundation, show off your car or bike, hang out with car guys and motorsports enthusiasts and have an all around good time! Feel free to post up this flier and relevant information on other forums and spread the word!

MEMBERS: This is our biggest, most public event of the year, so we want you there...students/alumni, everbody! Post this up wherever you can ASAP; if we get clearance for the dyno, I have a 2nd flier to post up that you can edit in to your forum postings. Thanks!

Long shot, but maybe you guys have friends that would be interested.
So ive decided to go with another new setup and im selling both sets of wheels I have laying around.

Set of 18x8.5 5zigens FN01RC +30 with 235/40/18 Kumho ASXs with 40% although one has some camber wear. Fit on both 1gs and 2gs...Sticks a bit out on the front of a 1g, but...it had no camber lol so I think they would tuck with like -2 camber.

Set of 17x9 wedsports +35 with 245/40/17s Toyo T1Rs. 90% tread and yes these fit on a 2g with no rubbing...Ask me how I know...the wheels are BRAND SPANKING NEW...100 miles on em now I put em on last week. Pictures will up for the perfect offset and wheel width for a 2g.

Absoultely no scratches on these wheels, tires have 95% tread aside from one with a small spot that was braked hard on when it locked up. Remember these wheels were brand newi n the box when they were mounted 100 miles ago!
