Selling for additional funds for garage so I can finish it and IÔÇÖm also ready for something different. This is absolutely one of the best FWD cars IÔÇÖve ever driven, so I'm a little sad that my ADD is kicking in so quickly. Lightweight, great handling, smooth powerband, reliable, and fun to drive; what more could I ask for? I drove it at VIR and it was an absolute blast; would be a phenomenal track car or great for learning the basics while being a reliable daily driver. I can deliver the car + all extras listed below with the car.

Mecum Auto Auctions is going to auction off CSX2601 - a 1965 Shelby Daytona Coupe. If you guys get the HD Theater channel, the auction will be on from 6-2 tonight, not sure when during that time they are selling the Daytona Coupe. Guesstimates are the car will bring in the neighborhood of 10-15 million.

This includes one orientation lap plus eight runs on a closed autocross-style (pylons on pavement) course in the M3, C63 AMG GT-R or 911 Turbo, plus another three runs in a F430 or Gallardo. There are variations on this package starting as low as $40, which will get you one orientation lap and a single autocross run.

All in all, it's a comprehensive set of offerings for a price that really can't be beat - especially when compared to the competition. P1, for example, charges an annual fee of £12,250 to £15,500 ($18,580 to $23500) plus a one-time joining fee of £2,450 ($3,700). By comparison, there's no competition at all. Of course, even P1 is still a bargain compared to ownership of even a single supercar.

And the very best part: Supercar Sensation is based in North Carolina - so it won't require a passport and an overseas vacation to enjoy the experience.

My spare isn't a full size, proper diameter just not proper width. How long is this good for? I'm in between pay days, and with 35k miles on the other 3 tires I'm assuming I need to replace all 4. I'd like to just limp along until next Friday when I get paid, I'm assuming this isn't a big deal so long as I don't offroad or do a top speed run.

This puts a pretty big hamper on buying two tires for the moto.

I just finished with exams, watching other people graduate, and moving to a new apartment, but another big change that has occurred recently has been the recent elections. The respective torches have all been passed to the new officers, and that fact, combined with me having shit else to do until summer classes start, means that I'm in a reflective mood and feel like writing. So...

I joined way back when in 2005, when Ryan T was president. I had found the site the summer before my freshman year, and was there at SON that September. I still have my flier that was given to me that day...I'll probably frame it along with my SCCA auto-x bracelet from my first MM event and whatever else I can find. Anyways, I brown nosed the hell out of Ryan because he was driving my dream car. I'll give him the credit for not only bringing me in, but mentoring me along and since becoming a great friend. (Dave and his car didn't hurt either of course, and he's a pretty good guy too)

To cut a long story short, I was a simple car-less freshman for that first year in MM. By 2006, I had become our club's treasurer, and still car-less. I still to this day have an epic amount of respect for treasurers and all that they have to do. After that second year in that position, I felt I was on a roll, and sort-of-maybe became President in 2007, still without a car. I figured what the hell, I'll assign myself that title which I kept until this past April (now featuring helpful amounts of car).

MM has been the meat and bones of my college experience. I don't know how I would've survived 4 years (so far) of college without this club and the people that came with it. It didn't just give me something to do, but it was something fun, interesting, and eventually something to be proud of. I'll never forget it.

Being president for the past two years was challenging, but hugely rewarding. During my tenure as a member, I was here for a lot of fun things; a lot of controversy, a lot of underwear knotting, and a lot of excitement. I feel like it all culminated in those last two years, where I had the most fun and had the deepest involvement. In '08, with Justin and Jeff, we had some awesome events, many of them for the first time. The return show to the C4 lot that year might be my fondest MM moment. That, or the first time we had 40 people at G-Force. Either way, that was a phenomenal year.

In 2009, MM went through some pretty serious demographic changes. A lot of good people had graduated by this point, and the club was heavily n00b oriented. The whole club took on a sort of laissez-faire attitude; no more great hate, alums seeming to disconnect from current students and vice versa, but all in all that is just the years progressing. I'm sure I'll turn into a loudmouth alum shortly, with others waiting in the wings. Still, I'm hugely proud of the fact that many of you are still so involved. You came and continue to come to our events over the last few years, and I hope that is a tradition that keeps going. MM is really the only JMU club that has this level of alum involvement. Lets keep it going.

I guess that last paragraph brings me to my next point: Jake, and the other officers (David, Adam, and Cabell) are really the first O-Team that is entirely devoid (pure?) of alum-godfatherness. They haven't shared any of their college years with most of you. I guess I just want to say that I don't want that to be a detractor for any of you, and I'm sure they want it the same way. No one can force anyone to do anything they don't want to (well outside of hush hush American torture programs...zing!), but I for one hope that alums will keep coming back...to karting, the show, hoMMecoming, and whatever else the new officers can think up.

I have a lot of faith in the new team, and members in general. They're already tossing around some great ideas, and with any luck it'll be another record year for MM events and achievements. I know I'll be there.

As for myself, I'm on the path to being a December grad (knock on wood). I'm at a place here in Harrisonburg that has a garage, so I'll be always welcoming MM members new and old over for a beer and wrenching. I'll probably stick around for a while after that looking for a job, and beyond that is the great unknown. But one thing is certain, I won't be a ghost. Like it or not, I've taken one-too-many GFCP hits to bail on this club.

Well, we got our letter from Chrysler this morning saying they want us to continue to be a dealer. This is good news. So as we sit here and wait for the rest of this mess to clear out...and our first new Jeeps to arrive... its time to upgrade about 5 or 6 of the dealership's aging PCs. Most of the ones to get the axe are running Windows 2000 with less then a gig of ram.

So, I have been tasked with finding the best deal on, lets say 6, desktop towers. We have all the monitors and such we need. Most of the PC's being replaced were made for us by a local place...never again. A few of them are Dells. I just need cheap basic towers with XP Pro or Vista Business on them...no BS. Minimum needs, 2g ram, smallish HDs, no fancy video cards, you get the picture.
