This is probably going to sound VERY stupid with me posting this on the forum cause its not related at all but oh well.
My aunt is in the process of opening her own framing workshop called Art On A Wire. She worked as a manager in another workshop for like 15+ years and they closed the shop and moved so she is currently unemployed. She is very skilled and it would mean alot if you guys could spread the word about her shop, it will open in like 2 weeks. I don't want her to go under financial burden cause of this shop. Its in Midlothan by the Big Red Barn across from that shopping center with Mcdonalds.
Please spread the word to friends if they plan on having anything framed around that area or in general, I would really appreciate it!

I currently house my racing website with an old friend's company. The issue is, I don't know how to do anything with it, it seems expensive at $100+ /yr. and supposedly I cannot house any video on the site (not that big a deal). I see ads that offer hosting and easy to build sites.... Anybody have any suggestions on who to use? I would like to list some parts for sale, potential cars for sale and also update it easily....
Thanks in advance

The current students are going to try the NASA Karts at Summit Point this year. We've already got two teams, but if other people are interested we can fill another team or two. We need teams of four to organize and sign up, the price is $160 a team, or $40 a person. The current teams are:
Team 1:
Joey
Lincoln
Matt
Chris
Team 2:
Jake
David
David
Kristin
http://www.nasaproracing.com/event/1045
For those that won't already be at Summit that Saturday, a group will leave Harrisonburg at 4:00. For my team, let's try to get our monies together and reserve our spot by next Wednesday.

Well, sorta.
I decided it would be a good idea to buy another 4x4 but I went in a slightly different direction this time. We recently traded a 1 owner 1996 Dakota Sport. It was originally purchased in Juneau, Alaska. So part of its 150,000 miles was its trip from AK back to NOVA where it spend the majority of the years prior to my acquisition.
What don't they need in Alaska? Think about it......
TIMES UP! A/C. No A/C. But my friend Mr. Previous Owner had an aftermarket A/C installed on it in 2000. I'll give it one thing....it will freeze the balls off a baby Gorilla. The interior is like SHOWROOM it is fantastic. The only downside is that 90's Chrysler paintjob. Not exactly the best. About 70% has been repainted the original Moss Green but the other 30% has been hit with touch up spray bombs....so it's less then perfect. Other then that, cool options include the 3.92 gears, LSD, and the sport package with the decal, smaller mirrors, fog lamps, and deleted body side moldings. For some reason this one also has the "bright bumper package" which covers its otherwise sorta sporty look with chrome...go figure.
So anyway, time for pics right? I only have two at this point. But let me explain one bit. I forgot to take a picture when I first got it. It had a large high-rise Jeraco camper shell on the back. One of those big ones that comes up higher then the cab. I traded it quickly to my grandfather for his toolbox....must be an old man thing to love camper tops.
The most stock picture I have.
![[Image: DSC04272Large.jpg]](http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c133/TurboOmni08/DSC04272Large.jpg)
Stock wheels with 31in tires. Not my BFGs. These were to see how bad the 31's would sap the power. Luckily I have 3.92 gears so it wasn't that bad. The OEM wheels are only 6in wide. Not the best with a 10.5in tire. So I had to get some new wheels, I will post those pics soon.

Everyone else was doing it, so it must be cool: I bought a XJ yesterday.
The details: 2000 Sport, 4.0L/AW4, Forest Green, 71k miles.
It's totally badass. I always knew they were, but suspicions confirmed after driving Thayer's lifted '92 when the Supra's fuel pump shit the bed, I knew I had to get one, and I'm sure it'll be a perfect compliment to the Miata.
Besides the usual maintenance/inspection stuff, it needs an alignment/drag-link adjustment - the 70's B-movie tire squall action is hilarious but annoying, and I plan to replace the mediocre stock lamps with some IPF H4's.

We usually do a poll for these but id love to see more of a list of who is attending, what car, and in what group/working where? I know Maeng said he would be there, and after that last event Jake may be on Ramen just to drive this event as well. I will be driving, but I know that usual NASA stuff will be depleted for that weekend as there is no racing. Can we expect to see our usual MM staff? (calling out Kaan/Rex/Julie/Allison/Peter/Matt/etc?)
Im also starting a list so that people dont have to bring multiple items of the same thing (that is available for everybody to use) and maybe a wish list? :dunno: I will also be buying an electrical spot if anybody wants to pitch in an use it as well. (20 for the weekend so throw me 10 bucks if its only one person or 5 bucks if multiple people).
Attending:
1. Don Fitzpatrick (1999 White M3 #168 HPDE3/TT)
2. Pete Denbigh (ballin' XR4Ti HPDE 3)
3. Jake Thiewes (Rawr Miata HPDE 1)
4. Peter Tyson (M3 Monstar HPDE 2) (Tentative)
5. David Goodspeed (Miatarrrr Hyperdrive)
6. Maeng (Hes running a honda 2000, I bet theres a hundred grand under the hood. HPDE 4)
7. Channing (Power-raging Ti, HPDE 4)
8. Rex (working that tech shed yo, yes im bored trying to avoid work right now)
9. Julie (chilling)
10. Sean (Frankene30 HPDE 3)
Bringing
1. Low-Profile Jack
2. Simple set of Tools
3. 1/2 Torque Wrench with 18MM socket
4.10x10 Canopy
5. Air Tank
6. Cooler with tons of water
7. GoProHD and my laptop so that we can film a lot
8. Extra camera mount with standard bolt fitting that goes into most bottom of cameras.
9. Tarp
Wish List:
1. Grill with charcoal or whatever to run it
2. Boombox (ill have electricity), something with more than just an ipod dock, otherwise ill bring my boombox but somebody has to bring cds LP

I am selling a 1990 Miata w/a hardtop that I was going to use as my daily driver, but I have been over ruled. The car has 86k and is completely stock. Power windows, AC, cruise, in dash CD system, 5-speed manual transmission, and I believe it has the VLSD. The down side is that the soft top needs to be replaced, but I have a brand new in the box Robbins soft top that goes w/ the car, and the car also has a removeable hardtop. New state inspection, oil, transmission, and differential fluid change as of 10/1/10.

Gruvenparts.com is having a major gruop buy on their front ducting plates and hoses. I mean...ridiculous group buy enough that I just put in my order. These plates alone are typically 230 from this vendor and that much or more from other vendors. This group buy includes the backing plates and 2 24" of Aero hose. The hose itself is typically $60-80 bucks and this whole package is only $105. Just order through this link and youll be good. Keep in mind they dont ship till the 22nd. He almost mentioned that if we get a lot of people the price falls even further!

It's that time of year again... the one MM event you don't want to miss:
![[Image: Mario-Kart-64-3.jpg]](http://thepigskindoctors.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/December09/Mario-Kart-64-3.jpg)
Yep, MM goes Karting at G-Force!!
Mark your calendars if you haven't already. The date is November 13, a Saturday. We will be karting from 11 AM to 1 PM. All drivers need to be at G-Force by 10:30 AM so we have ample time to get organized and run through the requisite safety briefing.
Cost is $30 for students (who have paid dues) and $40 for alumni. You can give us money at our meetings (cash or check) or you can PayPal. The PayPal address is madisonmotorsports@gmail.com.
Now, since we had so many flakes last time - ended up with some absurd number like 17 out of 40 actually show up to race (WTF?!) - we are making payments NON-REFUNDABLE. That means if you commit now, you put it on your calendar and don't back out at the last minute because your girlfriend's brother's wife's chihuahua's pet rabbit discovered a more pressing event on November 13th.
Or, you can indeed attend the other event and miss our day of greatness, but you won't get your $30 or $40 back. The cost to rent all of G-Force is massive for a club of our caliber, and it was incredibly difficult to make ends meet last semester with so many people backing out last-minute.
Sorry for being tough, but this is how it's gotta happen apparently.
SO! On to the signups. We are doing the typical 2 hour, 40 people enduro format. We'll start by offering 20 student spots and 20 alumni spots, and if we need to change ratios due to interest, we can/will.
You are not guaranteed a spot until you pay us, so keep that in mind!

1. Andrew Moore
