Hey guys, I'm parting with my beloved, state-of-the-art, Dell Dimension 4500 desktop computer. It features the Intel Pentium 4, 1.8GHz processor, with a whopping 1GB RAM! Everything works great but ever since I bought a new computer, this has been taking up space and collecting dust. The only catch is that I plan on keeping the hard drive since I've got over 10 years worth of files on there. Just put in your own hard drive and have a monster Linux or Ubuntu or Nobunto or Andro or Winzip whatever boss server.

Seriously, get it out of my house.

DJ's M3 is still a street car ). I found as a working man that I was often too computered out after a day on the job to come home and do work on this, plus I had a major project that was first in the queue (a 30min. family vacation video) that sapped most of my creative energy. Ricer videography excuses, basically.

Anyways, its just a short film I snipped together from footage I took largely during my final year in the 'burg ('09-'10). I also have a rough-cut "bonus" reel of some cool/fun stuff that didn't make it in; I'll post that here when its uploaded and ready.

Hey all, I'm Dylan Beveridge. This is actually my second time posting in this thread but I figured a re-introduction is in order.

I'm a senior and I joined the club my sophomore year, but I haven't been an active member until this year. I drive a silver 2003 Subaru WRX. It has a few mods:

TurboXS Stage 3 (Utec piggyback ecu with boost controller, 3 inch full exhaust w single cat with 2.5 inch muffler and tip, upgraded intercooler)
K&N cold air intake
Full SPT suspension (stock ride height up front, slightly lowered in the back)
Cusco adjustable front and rear sway bars
17x7.5 BBS RSR wheels
Stoptech rotors and calipers up front, upgraded calipers with stock discs out back

And maybe a thing or two I'm forgetting about. As I have mentioned before the mods on this car were done by my father before I had a drivers license, and my parents graciously gave me the car when I was in need of daily transportation. I love the car and its definitely a great car as a fun daily, with mostly-unassuming mods at that, but I have a really open-minded, eccentric taste in cars (read:I like weird) and I do wish I had something a little more unique. But until I have a real job and real money another car is fairly out of the question. I've been to a few autocrosses in my car and it is a lot of fun, and members can expect to see me out at as many of those as I can attend!

I also have back at my parents house a 2007 Kawasaki Ninja 250. I got it for a couple grand in 2009 with only 300 some miles on it to learn how to ride with. It's fun to ride and its got almost 2000 miles on it now but I don't ride it often enough to keep the carburetors from clogging up with old gas and making the bike an absolute pain to use until its been running for a while. Its been at least a full year since the last time I rode it and I'm considering trying to sell it to create some capital to start a drift car project?

I'll get some pictures in a bit -- I have a g27 that I lightly used for iRacing for about 3 weeks.

WIth my 10 year old HF impact wrench giving up (can't get the battery to work unless it's out of the "pack" and I know me some electronics hacking), I'm looking at getting into one of the 1 battery for-it-all kits. I have a hodge-podge of shitty/old corded tools whose value is negligible so I'll just throw those on CL or something.

Anyone have experience with these kits? I may not even go with a kit and instead build my collection up as my needs define.

The top brands I see reviewed: Makita, Bosch, Milwaukee.
Still seem to be good while saving some serious coin: Dewalt, Hitachi
Budget: Ryobi, Black and Decker, Porter-Cable, Kawasaki

I definitely don't want to go budget (read: really just B&D and P-C), but I'd also rather not drop $2k on the Makita kit when I won't be relying on this stuff for my livelihood.

18V seems the way to go, but 19.2V intrigues me. It seems 19.2V options are few and far between. Did it not catch on? Is it still pretty new (I know it's not)... What's the deal? 18V good enough?

The batteries. Do brands seem to keep a standard until the end of time? I don't want to get invested into this and five years down the line be without power (as I am with my HF impact).

I do know I want Li batteries...

Anyone notice that after the forum crash pictures load extremely slow? I always get a little spinning icon and sometimes it stays even after pictures have loaded. Other times it takes forever to load pictures.

On an unrelated note, when I click on links it redirects in the same window instead of opening a new window like it used to. Using chrome before and after the forum crash. Is there a setting that may be turned off? I know 1st world problems, but it's annoying to have to remember to right click to open in a new tab.

Personally, I'm very very impressed with the Camaro 1LE. It's faster than both the Boss 302 and 302 Leguna Seca. Also the hyundai genesis 3.8 r-spec was surprisingly quick. Keep in mind, data from the bigger list below is from different days/years, so they aren't necessarily comparable conditions.

Alright, one I'm bored as shit, secondly I was doing some thinking for Chump car. As many of you guys know I have the BMW which is too much trouble to actually "fix". Well today I went home to try and sell it and it decided to die while the guy was test driving it. I was jokingly talking about possibly using as a MM car/chump car. Is there any interest in including this as our own personal MM car? Would anybody be interested in helping "build" it? I know we have some people that have the skills to help, but would anybody actually be interested in this? I've mentioned it a few times also to Dan but I don't know if we would have enough people to drive etc. At this point I have no problem trashing the car. I figure if we part out the interior that could cover some costs. I'm sure some alumni has an extra seat they wouldn't mind lending either. Any thoughts/suggestions/bashing feel free! I'll entertain all!
