Hey guys I'm sure some (if not most) of you guys have heard of the new Dominion Raceway that they are trying to build in Spotsylvania. That's my hometown and they really need some support. Any little bit helps out. Just check out their facebook page:
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.facebook.com/DominionRaceway?fref=ts">http://www.facebook.com/DominionRaceway?fref=ts</a><!-- m -->
You can find any info you want on their and there is also a picture of the proposed plan. I was just posting this up since some people at the last meeting did not know about it and wanted this posted on the forum.

Hi Everyone,
I do believe it's time to sell my motorcycle and look for something a little be different motorsports wise. I really just want to upgrade to something a little more fun that has a less likelihood of killing me.
See, one of my motorcycling icons, Kevin Ash died a few days ago from a motorcycling accident. He's been one of the original guys I've followed ever since I got into motorcycles a few years ago... he's ridden and wrote about every important bike in the last 20 years or so. My thought is, if a man like Ash can't ride a bike without killing himself, I probably won't be able to either. I've loved the experience and I've wanted to do this for awhile, but until I get the funds to either A: get the armor and protection that I think I may need to be safe or B: Get a bike with at minimum a functioning ABS system or traction control, I don't really want to ride. I know, I know, I'm just being a pansy or something, but genuinely miss having a whip with a trunk and just being able to drive without putting on a full set of armor and worrying that a small gravel patch may throw me headlong into the hood of a semi, exploding me into a bunch of shiny red chunks.
Anyways, this has nothing to do with the bike. But it does show there's nothing wrong with my motorcycle. It's completely mechanically sound. It's got a few cosmetic issues, but those are easily sorted. I spent most of my time just making sure it ran well, and it has. I'd just rather spend the funds on something a little different.
It's for sale on CL. Here's the link.
http://harrisonburg.craigslist.org/mcy/3557672364.html
I'm asking 2500 OBO for it.
Call or text at 540 476 1702.

Dave,
You use any additive in your fuel in winter for your F250? This cold weather lately has been making it pretty hard for the truck to start. I dont think have a block heater (well, in my cursory walk around the front bumper this morning before i left for work I couldnt find the plug if its there) so I was wondering about putting some kind of additive in the fuel.
Also, somewhere I heard that if you get water in your fuel system it can gum things up - do you know how to check that? Is the only check pulling the cover off and turning that valve on the fuel bowl (I'm assuming all of them had a valve?)

All the Facebook stalkers know... Sylvia and I bought a house. Some of you know, we need garage space. Motorcycles, hondas, and Jeeps rule the roost. 2500ish sqft, 5.55 acres, and a two car garage... sorta close to Summit
![[Image: FrontofHouseSNOW_zps41114737.jpg]](http://i883.photobucket.com/albums/ac32/JMURACN/FrontofHouseSNOW_zps41114737.jpg)
The house is "move in" ready. Sure there are little things here and there... there will always be those things. The "trouble" spot was actually the garage. Could we move in and make this 2 car garage our bitch? sure but why not work on the "trouble" spot. The whole garage was in Killz and the tape joints where breaking/broken.

YES that is a mop sink... and YES there is a drain in the floor. car wash only! we are on well water, we arent trying to die.
Rex, Julie, and my parents showed up to help clean up around the house and rex gave me a hand mudding the cracks. its been 10 years since i did dry wall work. it showed the next day, but ehh, its a garage. I (the colorblind one) chose battleship grey... TOOOO DAAAA! we will be doing "gloss" to all sides... and the white will get done next lol.

So I've been here since Sunday. Spent a couple days in Hong Kong, will be spending the remainder in Guangzhou, Beijing, and Shanghai.
It was only after day tripping in Macau and being reminded of the GP there that I realized there might be some other cool motorsport stuff to see here. Anyway, I think a few other MMers have passed through and figured it was worth asking. Anything cool here, from kart track to museum?
Cheers!

So the 2002 Camaro is a great car. Tons of fun, over 400 hp, and the roof is see through and removable. What's not to love? Well, it gets 14 mpg on my 14 mile commute (do the math), it's 11 years old and kind of clunky, and most of all it does not portray the fact that I have a real job that pays pretty well. So I have been looking around trying to decide what will replace it. I am all over the map, so have not pulled the trigger yet. When I made the move from the 04 RX8 to the Camaro, I vowed to myself to never own anything without a V8 ever again. Ehhhh, maybe I can break my rule. So i'm looking to spend up to $35k. If I top out my budget, whatever I get better be pretty much new. Otherwise, decently low mileage is acceptable. Here how my mind has been working thus far. My focus is on modern interior, non-lame exterior, overall cost of vehicle. Power is a plus, but wimpyness could be justified (ct200h?)
Audi A5: Gorgeous, AWD, 27mpg highway, not too expensive insurance, luxurious, sporty, but maintenance would suck.
BMW 335i: Power, luxury, but still the high maintenance costs.
Lexus ct200h: Massive amount of technology inside, unique looking, 40+mpg, but 98 freaking hp. Would this be stupid and boring in 8 days?
08+ Corvette: Because Corvette, but might miss the backseat, and insurance is insane.
12+ Mercedes C300: Because I could own an almost new Mercedes in my price range. But that's the only reason.
SUV: a jet ski may be purchased in the next couple of years since I live at the beach now. This opens a whole other string of possibilities.
I'm open to taking a lashing if the above choices all suck. Let's hear it.
