<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://usalexus.programhq.com/ACTIVITY/ASPX/LEXTOL/Lexus.ASPX">http://usalexus.programhq.com/ACTIVITY/ ... Lexus.ASPX</a><!-- m -->
sounds like its similar to the Merc Benz E-motion drive me and gerald did a few years back. Got to rag the piss out of the new e class on a coned course at fedex and get free gourmet food, a hat, and all sorts of cool shit afterwards. should be a good time.

The Half-Life 2 code theft saga entered a new chapter today when Valve Software announced that a series of arrests had been made in the case. According to Valve, suspects in several countries had been taken into custody in relation to charges stemming from the theft of the Half-Life 2 code, the distribution of the code, and the break-in into Valve's network.
Valve CEO Gabe Newell credited gamers with providing the information that led to the arrests. ÔÇ£It was extraordinary to watch how quickly and how cleverly gamers were able to unravel what are traditionally unsolvable problems for law enforcement related to this kind of cyber-crime," he said in a statement. "Everyone here at Valve is once again reminded of how much we owe to the gaming community."
However, while Valve announced the arrests today, it was unclear when they actually occurred. Valve's statement on the matter--e-mailed to the press today--quoted Newell as saying, "Within a few days of the announcement of the break-in, the online gaming community had tracked down those involved."
The FBI's Northwest Cyber Crime Task Force, the law-enforcement agency overseeing the code theft investigation, also divulged little information. When asked by GameSpot if it had made any arrests, the media contact at the task force's Seattle, Washington, headquarters said simply, "We did." However, when pressed for more information on the case--such as how many people in the US were arrested, where were they apprehended--the agent declined to say anything other than that arrests had been made. "Beyond that we cannot comment," he said.
News of the Half-Life 2 arrests comes after months of rumors about law-enforcement activity on the case. In January, a number of computer experts in the San Francisco area reported having their hardware seized by FBI agents on the grounds that they were involved in the theft. Several weeks ago, unconfirmed reports from Germany said the author of the Phatbot Trojan worm was also involved in the theft. In both instances, neither Valve nor the authorities offered any comment.

Car and Driver Magazine is reporting Mazda will unveil the Electric-motor-assisted turbocharger at the October 2005 Tokyo Auto Show. We give this rumor a good, about 70%, chance of being true.
This concept is the one that was first used on the Hydrogen RX-8 concept at the 2003 Tokyo Autoshow. The electric-motor-assist turbocharger is used to maximize the effectiveness of forced induction throughout the RPM range. At low engine speeds, beginning at approximately 1000 rpm, an electric motor operates to assist the turbocharger and increase induction efficiency. At high rpm, the turbocharger is driven in a traditional fashion, by the flow of exhaust gas alone.
We will have to wait to see what surprises Mazda has for us at the 2005 Tokyo Autoshow. Note that there is no Tokyo autoshow in 2004, as Tokyo plays host to a large commercial vehicle show. Expect to see more rumors circulate around the web for the next sixteen months. We will try to report on the best ones.

I have been watching this show the past couple Tuesdays on Speed Channel. Tonight they are doing a Honda Civic(7pm). They have previously done an Escalade, Nissan Sentra SE-R, BMW M3, and Subaru WRX STi. They graphics guy is kinda goofy, but other than that I like the show. They are also given a $5000 budget. Comments?

I know that there are a variety of sportbike racing series. What are all the ones that are in America and Europe. It starts with 125cc and goes to 1000cc? Are the bikes open to be modified at the teams discretion or are there limits?

I was changine my fuel filter yesterday and I came to a pretty funny realization. A pencil is too narrow to plug the end of 2nd gen rx7's fuel line. I came to this realization while under my car being showered in fuel. Worry not. The car was not warm at all. My arms turned white from dead skin immediately and the cuts that I had recently given myself from underneath the car were "sanitized" by the gasoline.
Luckily, a neighbor was passing by and he ran inside to grab a pen that was thick enough to plug the line while I removed the fuel filter's mounting bracket. Car runs like butter now though! Just thought I'd share...
