  Floppy Problem
Posted by: Sijray21 - 06-21-2004, 07:16 PM - Forum: Technical Discussion - Replies (6)

How's it goin

Alright here's the problem. I recently built a tower and i wanted to add in a 3.5" floppy drive. Well I bought my first one and the green led stayed on, as if it were busy all the time. I thought it was the floppy drive so i bought another one. Apparantly the second one is doing the same thing. Is the motherboard the problem??? I have it hooked up with an orion clear round cable if that helps (doubtful). Can anyone help me out?

Thanks

J

Nothing to do this coming weekend? This event should be a good one and is only 90 miles from NoVA straight up I95 in Aberdeen, MD.

I'm thinking of going, not 100% sure yet.

Cost is $35

Help! My Mom wants a Scion!
Posted by: LorenaBeana - 06-21-2004, 04:12 PM - Forum: Lounge - Replies (36)

Yeah, you read correctly. Mom likes the boxy Scion...X....b? I dunno. Now, it is a Toyota, so it is permissable by brand alone, but Dad wouldn't even look at it in the showroom. We are trying to get my Mom either a Sienna (she doesn't need a van, but wants it for future grandkids Confusedhock: ) or a Prius (she commutes 1.5hrs one way). And we want to get rid of the 85 Toyota Van on it's 3rd engine, 350kish miles, no A/C, etc with which she is in love. Any thoughts on the Scions? I am...not a fan. And Mom doesn't understand the basic premise of the Scion line, the whole within-warranty mod thing...she likes the way it friggin looks! Any help would be appreciated.

Needs a bath big time, catback mangaflow exhaust, giac chip, K&N pannel filter. New thermostat housing, a bunch of others. Leather interior with cloth seats.
Needs new timing chains and guides, they are making noise. Any questions or anything hit him up, hes my friend. IM him on Vortex VDUB-IRC

Hes looking for around low $4k for it. I installed the filter and chip in this car and have been around for his entire ownership. Its been well taken care of and its a great ride.
