Im getting a 50k mile 2.5RS motor and its already outta the car, came from a running 2.5 with no problems, hes doing an sti swap. So how do I check the compression? Its without the tranny, so cranking the starter is out.

i dont know how many of you actually work for the govt and not just govt contracts, but if you go into your wireless service provider with a govt ID, they should give you a discount every month. i just found out about this recently and went in yesterday. they told me i'll be saving 19% every month. for all i know, maybe it is good with govt contractors too. just passing the info along.

I need to put in my "new" tranny (LSD + 4.9 FD). The tranny is assembled, I'm just running short on time (and motivation) and I'd like to get it in early next week before I roll out for road atlanta. I may end up getting it done myself - but if I cant, anyone know of a decent shop in NoVa that can knock this out for a reasonable price?
