The Macau Grand Prix is sort of like Asia's version of the Isle of Man TT, except that its an actual elbow-to-elbow race, unlike the sort of rally format of the Isle of Man. The Macau GP is the race that yielded this pic from last year:

Here's a link to video highlights of this year's race. Michael Rutter from the HM Plant Honda team in the British Superbike series took the win, making it his 6th win of the Macau GP. Video highlights:

Naturally the Macau GP is very dangerous and unfortunately a rider got killed in practice this year. It sucks because this would've been a year with no fatalities that I know of had it not been for that one.

Alright guys... I'm going to need to start commuting every day to work here in Chicago... and I need a car. Don't give me ideas like "that 3rd gen you've always wanted" or "miata with 160k"... I need something reliable, under 15k, and that I can throw around at an AutoX if I want to. I also need to to be reliable. I won't be able to do much work on it, and that's even if I find a dedicated parking spot. I need it to be reliable. Also, it needs to get decent gas mileage, and I'd prefer something... er... reliable.
Right now, I'm looking at things like this: link
Oh, and I can't care if it gets scratched, keyed, dented, destroyed... or torn apart by the excessive amounts of salt used...
READY GO!!!!!
