  Mission Impossible: Stunt Riders Needed

Damn it. If only I had started riding Supermoto a year or so ago I could try out to be a stunt double Sad

  Where to d/l an old version of AIM
Posted by: .RJ - 12-16-2005, 03:06 PM - Forum: Lounge - Replies (27)

I got the desktop hooked up to wireless now, so last night I d/l AIM so I can stop squinting at my laptop screen and use that all the time instead - however the 'new' aim is this god awful flaming homsexual piece of dogshit.

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.aim.com/triton/demo.html">http://www.aim.com/triton/demo.html</a><!-- m -->

Its ugly. Its complicated. It gives me a headache. I like 'regular' IM without any toys, bells, interactiveflashallovermyscreenads, 437 emoti-icons, etc....

Unless there is a better IM program I can use for AIM, that'd be good too.

  Crosslander SUV's...

Ok, so I've been praying that Crosslander can overcome its certification troubles and actually become a viable vehicle in the US.

I read about the Crosslander last year some time in Car and Driver and I've been keeping an eye on them ever since.

What is a Crosslander?
[Image: crosslander2.gif]

It's a 4X4 based on a Romanian Military design, with a Ford 4.0 V6 and an honest-to-god manual locking hubs.

All for the princely sum of about 20 grand.
Thoughts?

  Infinity Basslink II
Posted by: Jeff - 12-16-2005, 10:17 AM - Forum: Technical Discussion - Replies (12)

Hey guys, has anyone heard a basslink in a car in action? I or II? I am looking at getting the Basslink II and the 4channel amp that goes into it for the Daytona. I am getting a SMOKIN deal through work so none of the "they are too expensive for what they are, get a 12in sub and a cheap 1000million watt amp!!!" I was just wondering if anyone has a friend with one or has one themselves and could give me an opinion on the bass output. I want some space saving thump in my hatch. The wall at work is not an a good representation of how it really sounds.

  02 sensor replacement.... ^w-t-f mate?
Posted by: .RJ - 12-15-2005, 11:20 PM - Forum: Technical Discussion - Replies (22)

So the miata had been a bit down on fuel mileage, with a CEL for a little while, with a bad o2 sensor listed as one of the triggers for the light. I figured, its got to be the o2 sensor, after I fixed an exhaust leak after the pre-cat (new gasket).

I get a new OEM sensor from Felton today, so I pull the old one off.... sho' nuff its a 'universal' type that you wire into the factory harness. Those things never work worth a shit.... but I was curious how this guy "wired" it in.....

Pics speak for themselves on this one:

I hate ice. My car is stuck there until next spring, or until it grows a front drive axle.

  Source for OEM Parts

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.get-fast.net/parts/">http://www.get-fast.net/parts/</a><!-- m -->

I've used Jon for a while now to get any oem odds and ends for my various crapwagons, and the prices are always great and the parts show up in 2-3 days. I know he can get axxis ultimate brake pads at a good price, and he's got a list of the other stuff he can get on the site.... send him an email if you need to get a hold of anything :thumbup:

No affiliation, just a satisfied customer - Jon hooked me up with an o2 sensor for the miata in 2 days Smile
