Quote:4th Annual GMU DSM Meet
March 11, 2006 @ 1:00pm
Parking Lot K, GMU Fairfax Campus
This is going to be the biggest event yet! We have several new ideas for this year. Team Trinity has invited Electric Plus, Redline Design, JRP, Hi PSI and Slow Boy Racing to set up tents to showcase their new products for the season and donate prizes for our raffle drawing. Raffle tickets $2 each or 3 for $5.
Also, be sure to enter into the car show, $5 admission fee and receive a free raffle ticket. The show is open to all cars. All participants must have their registration forms into the Team Trinity tent by 3:00pm. Judging will start at 3:00pm. Awards will be presented for the following categories:
Best Engine
Best Dyno FWD
Best Dyno AWD
Best ┬╝ mile FWD
Best ┬╝ mile AWD
Best Interior/Audio
Best Exterior
Awards will also be presented for Best of Show, Best of Show Runner Up and the Team Trinity Award for Best DSM. DonÔÇÖt forget to bring your dyno sheets and time slips to enter to win one of Team TrinityÔÇÖs awards.
Feel a little hungry? We got that covered. We will be selling refreshments, to include hamburgers, hotdogs, and drinks.
So, where is all this money going? We want to get a portable dyno for the 2007 GMU DSM Meet, so the monies received will help us have an even bigger event than this year!
Go to www.team-trinity.com for more details. Hope to see you there!

My front bumper is going to be repainted, so I figure that since I spend so much time on the highway, I might as well protect it a bit.
Anybody ever do this themselves? I know the general concept of how it's done (and I've done window tint before...easy on flat surfaces, tough in hard spots like the rear window). Is it difficult to get it to fit the contour of the bumper? I'd like to give it a shot, but that stuff isn't cheap, and I'd rather pay to get it done right if I'm gonna mess it up.

My brake pedal never seems to be firm enough. It sometimes gets better right after I bleed it but it gets softer again later. Usually I see very little to no air come out of the front calipers. The rears however I get what seems like an unending supply of air. The fluid that comes out also appears to have some rust or rust like particles floating around in it. One theory is maybe the piston bores are rusted out, and this is causing both the air issue and the rusty brake fluid issue.
Another thing that I've noticed is that I can bottom out the brake pedal with enough force (I don't have to stand on it, but its not a little bit of force either). I'm not sure if that should happen. This leads me to believe that I could have some sort of MC problem.
So, what do you guys think? Replace the rear calipers and MC?

$145 shipped. Only fits 10" subs, but supposedly sounds great. I like how it's flush mounted and lets me keep a lot of trunk space. I figured since this car came prewired with everything for a system in the back and I listen to mostly trance / techno I would consider it. I'd like to put 1 10" Alpine Type R into it, should bang really hard.
I used to have 1 Cervin Vega 10" sub in a truck box in my first ever vehicle, a Toyota pickup. It was so freaking loud in that cabin lol! BTW I still have that truck box if anyone wants it (still works but a little worn out).
Thoughts? I thought the flush mount was a pretty cool idea.

First race is the end of March, but I want reasons to watch. I know Gerald will have a lot to contribute but I have a lot to learn. Hopefully Faster 2 will update me on what has happened in the past few years. If anyone has a link to all the riders and their teams that would be great as well.
Predictions? Comments?

The Ultima GTR, is definitely one of my favorite cars. Here is a rediculous example that I think will interest you all:

Oh, and you can buy this car, minus engine and transaxle, as a kit, for $41,000! I want one, oh yes, I want one!

Its gotten pretty good reviews, especially from moto folks. I'd like to go see it either sometime over the weekend or next week. Next week would be cool because then Leech can come.
