this seems like a dumb question, but i never really thought about this until today. when the fluid level is low in a clutch master cylinder (assuming no leaks, unlike feersty and no top offs) does that mean that a clutch needs to be replaced similarly to brake fluid being low relating to pads being worn?

To any of you folks with avatars hosted on we-todd-did-racing: I deleted most of 'em because their site was down, and the error image was doing wacky things to our page rendering.
I think I sent PMs to most folks that I noticed, if not, consider this your notification.

It was for a 99-00 Si, but it worked for Preludes too. I don't really know what else it fits in but if anyone wants it, 10 bucks and its yours. It's still in the bubble wrap package.

Well, as some of you may have known previously, I thought that I had a float hanging up in my carb. It was flooding out like mad, and I couldnt figure out why, so I finally took it to a local shop. They rebuilt it thinking the same thing I did. Still flooding out..so, apparently the core cracked a bit, allowing fuel to flow rampantly down into my intake, flooding it out like a champ! So..an excuse to buy a new carb..hooray for that! Well, i had thought about switching over to a vacuum controlled carb, but that would involve switching distributors, which is a really obvious emissions illegal thing to do, so I'm going with a stock rebuilt Qjet, good up to 795CFM (Computer controlled Qjets change the CFM based on demand)....so, thats good I guess, except it's spending 300$ for almost no gain..However I've been running rich, and i thought the jets were too big, maybe it was jsut getting extra fuel from this leak...update to come on how its running

Found it when organizing the garage over the weekend -
'OEM' (Mahle) - Was for a '94, mounted in the engine bay, not under the car. Not sure if this makes it a 'late' or 'early' E36 filter. If it fits your car, its free, come pick it up in Vienna or I'll bring it to G-Force this weekend.

Hey, I just joined the club so I'm not sure how many of you guys are running e36 bmws, but if you are I've got a couple goodies up for grabs. First, I have a Turner Motorsport chip for M3s built after 1/95. TMS claims 19hp and 16 ft./lbs of torque IIRC. The intake is made by cosmos racing, which was started on bimmerforums (not cosmo intakes sold on ebay). I just cleaned it and oiled it so all you have to do is slip it on. The CAI will work with any e36 model I believe. It sounds pretty mean, and both the chip and CAI together make a very noticeable difference.
Looking to pick up $150 for the chip and $100 for the intake with the cleaning kit. email me at lawrenjw@jmu.edu if you're interested.
