Anyone interested in going down to DC Improv this coming Friday night the 24th at 8pm to see Flip Orley? If you don't know who he is, he's a hypnotist comic, guaranteed funny show. I went last year when he came around and laughed my ass off. I'm planning to go either way, but figured it'd be more fun if I could get others to come with.

This Wednesday we are gonna have a video night. Since a lot of people have access to a lot of different videos, I figure why not all get together and show them off. So, everyone bring in your favorite automotive videos and we'll share them. Lets try and limit it to about 10 or so minutes of video per person, for times sake.
It will be held where our meetings are normally held, ISAT 236 at 7pm. Hope everyone can make it out.

I wish I could find some "before" pictures of Andrew's 1993 Accord.
The poor thing, it was used and abused, and when Andrew got the Prius, he decided that Bikes were his thing and passed this unloved creature to us.
When we got it, it needed a full re-do of the driver's side steering and suspension components. In fact, the tie rod end was so blown, that it wouldn't even move with a hammer.
Well today, now that the DSM is gone, we started work on it.
Earlier in the month I found on the ShenValley Freecycle a free 1990 Honda Accord. It's got a bad trans and nearly 200k miles on it, but good front body panels and good front suspension bits. Sounds perfect.
Here is the poor, abused parts car:
![[Image: normal_Parts%20Car%20--%203-18-2006%20%2...%20008.JPG]](http://www.mmsports.org/members/albums/userpics/10025/normal_Parts%20Car%20--%203-18-2006%20%20Resized%20008.JPG)
We stole the body panels, and swapped them over to the 1993:
![[Image: normal_Accord%20Pictures%20--%203-18-200...%20009.JPG]](http://www.mmsports.org/members/albums/userpics/10025/normal_Accord%20Pictures%20--%203-18-2006%20--%20Resized%20009.JPG)
Another view:
![[Image: normal_Accord%20Pictures%20--%203-18-200...%20007.JPG]](http://www.mmsports.org/members/albums/userpics/10025/normal_Accord%20Pictures%20--%203-18-2006%20--%20Resized%20007.JPG)
The 90's front bumper is a little more aggressive, and has a lip on it, oh, and hey, it doesn't sit cock-eyed. w00t! The front frame rail eventually accepted the new fender and headlight, after much pursuading with a shot-filled hammer. Yes, it's technicolor, but as soon as the floor is poured for the garage, I'm going to give it a quick spray. I'm thinking maybe black, cuz it's easy and cheap.
This is Kafn8ed's head, leaning over what is quite possibly the strangest front suspension I've ever encountered:
![[Image: normal_Suspension%20Work%20--%203-18-200...%20005.JPG]](http://www.mmsports.org/members/albums/userpics/10025/normal_Suspension%20Work%20--%203-18-2006%20--Resized%20005.JPG)
We got all of the suspension bits that are going to be changed off of the car, but we weren't able to get them off of the parts car for the swap. Since the axle came apart anyway (the inner joint decided to seperate), we are calling it a day.
More to come, though, as this project develops over the summer.
