I saw a definition on wikipedia today and thought it was really funny, but then realize there are a lot of specific words and phrases in our little community that not everyone may know, so, add definitions for car or motorsport-related slang, malapropisms, or idioms.

Well, I finally bought a new set of tires, for the racecar - I dont remember the last time I bought new tires, so it could have been last week but it was more likely about 5 years ago.

Tires ordered at 10am, they were heat cycled and shipped out by 5pm, and I'll probably have them in 2 days. These guys really kick ass :thumbup:

MachV is having their annual Open House. I go every year and its fun to meet a lot of people there as 95% of the guys show up are WRX owners or DSM owners. They have a dyno and do dyno sessions, raffles, and have tons of parking. You dont pay for the raffles as I remember and I won a dvd last time I Was there. Although I would have preferred winning that nice ass manifold. Oh well....Anyone want to go? Ill probably be going up, if anyone wants a ride let me know and maybe we can carpool all up there to save time/money...
