Hey guys, just thought I'd post this because extra sets of eyes in different locations is always helpful.
My friends SI was stolen around 11pm-3am last night, we came back from the bars and what not and went to grab something from his car and it was gone. Was parked at the Hermitage apartment complex, not the safest place but whatever..
It's a Red SI, Buddy Club gunmetal P1 wheels (1 donut), s2k seats, lowered, dented on rear quarter panel. So if anyone sees this thing on the side of the road on rotors or some douchebag joyriding it please call the cops...
I guess NoVa theft is back in swing since its summer time almost... :?

I moved into a new place in January and my roommates and I never go around to throwing a housewarming party. No real better occasion than this, then.
Where:
6052 Clay Spur Court
Centreville, VA 20121
When:
May 5, show up any time after 8
Bring:
Beer? If you want. Friends, women, etc.
If there's enough people coming then we'll try and get a keg or two. Otherwise we'll stock the fridge and have at it.
I know a lot of folk will be at CMP, but the rest of MM is more than welcome to come up here. There's floor space a'plenty for anybody that doesn't live close by and parking's real easy.
Any takers?

Quantum Rally Sport Rolls into Points Lead
Images and more datails at http://www.rallyblogs.com/quantumrallysport
Hillsboro, Oregon April 21-23rd. The third round of the Rally America Championship Series, the Oregon Trail Pro Rally, was held over the long weekend in the Tillamook State Forest. The Production GT competition was fierce, and after Friday's stages held at Portland International Raceway, 22 seconds was the gap between 1st and 4 th place in class.
Quantum Rally Sport Driver Eric Langbein drove his 2002 Subaru WRX well and was 3rd in class at the start of Saturday's forest stages. Trying to close the gap to the class leaders, (Tanner Foust and Matthew Johnson) Eric pushed hard on Special Stage 8 "Bark Shanty Long" the rally's longest stage at 19.68 miles. Six miles into the long stage Eric rolled the car exiting a left hand turn.
"This was my first roll ever, it was surprisingly slow, we landed on our wheels, restarted the car, and continued down the stage." Eric commented. The car was not with out damage, several body panels were dented and a radiator hose ruptured.
Mid-day service allowed the Delta V Motorsports Crew to repair some of the damage caused by the roll and the team finished the day 2 nd in class.
Sunday's stages were again held in the mountains west of Portland. Sunday's route contained about 60 competitive miles on Special Stages. The team managed to stay on the wheels all day despite a close call on Special Stage 13 " Emerald Forest."
Co-driver Jeremy Wimpey described the moment on SS13, "On the exit of a long left turn, we went wide and surfed the shrubbery for a while. Eric gathered it up, but for a while he was holding his breath. Luckily there were no stumps or big trees lining the road, and we only lost our rear bumper cover."
The rally concluded in Hillsboro and the PGT Podium was filled with familiar faces. Matthew Johnson and Co-driver Kim Demotte finished in 1 st place, the QRS Team finished 2nd, and Canadians Norm LeBlanc and Co-driver Keith Morrison filled out 3rd place.
The Oregon Trail Pro Rally finish puts driver Eric Langbein in the lead of the PGT championship points race. With six more rounds in the Rally America Championship Series it will be an exciting battle to watch. Rally Net Cast will provide live coverage on their site at future rounds of the championship ( http://www.rallynetcast.com).
The next round of the Rally America Championship Series is the Susquehannock Trail Pro Rally to be held in Wellsboro , Pennsylvania on June 4th, 2006 .

Well, after about 5 months of driving it ive decided to sell the Miata. 1994, 70k miles. Any information you need can be found in the FS thread we had on it a while back when I bought it (as nothing much has changed) found here http://www.mmsports.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3190. The only updates that I need to make are that the car needs new tires/brake pads (as I have not had enough money to do either at this point in time). Everything else is exactly the same as in that thread. While the car is very fun to drive (and im sure in a few years ill be looking to pick up another when), at this point in my life I would rather have more room/comfort when driving up and down to NOVA and everywhere else. To this end im buying my parents protege at the end of the summer when my younger brother leaves for college.
Price is $2500.
