FYI Guys. Be CAREFUL on your way to/from/around Hyperfest:
As found in the Daily News Record:
Troopers Putting Brakes On Bad Drivers Posted 2006-07-06
ÔÇÿOperation Air, Land & SpeedÔÇÖ Set For Weekend
By Heather Bowser
Pedal-heavy interstate drivers should pull back the reins this weekend or a run-in with the law will do it for them.
On Friday, state troopers will start the first of three summer saturation campaigns, called "Operation Air, Land & Speed," on Interstates 81 and 95, the Virginia State Police announced Wednesday.
Until Monday night, Virginia police will deploy "every available officer" onto the roadways and the airspace above the road to slow traffic and prevent fatalities, said state police spokeswoman Corinne Geller.
Troopers will target intoxicated drivers and aggressive behavior, said state police Sgt. Frederick Tyler. They also will aggressively search for drivers with out-of-date stickers or tags, safety belt or child restraint violations, no insurance, and anyone tailgating and making abrupt lane changes.
"If we see something, anything, weÔÇÖll take care of it," Tyler said.
The remaining two campaign dates had not been announced as of Wednesday.

On this Baltimore radio station on Thursday at noon, Chris will be talking live with Paul Reed Smith President (and 944 Cup driver) Jack Higginbotham, the Governor and a few others about Hyperfest, motorsports, etc. Wish I could hear it! Let me know if he sounds like a big goofball so I can give him a hard time about it.

Somehow the paper found out about an award I won at Carlisle, but fortunately they mentioned MM.
About 3/4 of the way down the page: link
As pasted from above article:
"Denbigh Wins Ford Car Show Engineering Award
Peter Denbigh won the engineering excellence award at the All Ford National Car Show in Carlisle, Pa.
Denbigh, 26, is president and founder of WildWires on Neff Avenue in Harrisonburg.
He won the award for his 1985 Merkur XR4ti, a German-made car imported by Ford in the 1980s.
The award recognizes modifications that push a car beyond its design specifications.
Denbigh is a member of Madison Motorsports, a group a James Madison University students and graduates who build and race cars."
