I'm pretty sure I remember somtehing about having a fall car show this year to try to get some decent weather and more attention, etc. This in the works? Seems like it'd be getting close to time to get the ball rolling on this. Flyer drops at all the cruise ins we go to in the summers might draw a nice crowd. Hot rod guys, and tuners too I guess, love to get flyers dropped in their front seats and such for car shows.

Finally got the place open, atleast half the shop. Still waiting on final work to be completed on the dyno this sunday and DRYFT Motorsports will be ready this coming week. Im planning on an official "grand opening" of sorts with a car show/discount dyno day most likely weekend after next. Should have some nice cars there. If you guys are around feel free to come on in and bug me, and justin too since he'll start working there monday.

What AN sizes do you substitute for normal hoze? Like...what is 6AN size like? 1/8in? 1/4in?

Is any brand better then another? I'm looking at Summit brand.

Pete, or whoever- I saw your fuel rail had an AN to hardline connector. I see then in the catalog but they say for use with their aluminum hard hose. Is your fuel rail aluminum? Or will it work with steel if you just tighten it enough?

so as most of you know, a guy at work is selling his 01 suzuki sv650s. from the responses most of you gave, that sounds like a killer deal. john and gerald have so graciously gnawed away at my will to resist joining the 2 wheeled dark side for quite some time and it looks like this opportunity is too good to pass up. i think chan is declining to buy the bike as its just too soon, so am like 90% sure i am going to buy it.

so since i know next to nothing about motorcycles except that i want one, lets hear what the pros and cons would be of having this SV650S as a starter bike. initially, it would probably be kept for sunny days or some weekend riding. if i dont like it, i may sell it. i'm not even trying to think of taking it on track... yet. i'm busy enough with the car on track and i have no experience riding on the street with a motorcycle, so lemme take care of that first before i blast off into doing track days. that other thread that chan posted has kinda focused itself on track days. my main concern is the balance between having a fun bike and my personal safety on the road.

so those of you not in monterey ca right now, have at it and lets hear the comments. i'm sure the others will chime in after they get back from the westsiiiiiiiide
