  FS: Maeng's Tire Pressure Gauge
Posted by: Andy - 10-17-2006, 03:21 PM - Forum: For Sale/Trade, WTB - Replies (11)

It's a nice unit. Lightly used Longacre with extension. Reads up to 60PSI. I have one just like it so I don't need two. Whoever makes it out to a driving event this fall with me, gets it.

Someone mentioned there was on there and I thought I remembered who's car it was, anyway, it is this one.

I remember back when he started building the car, pretty sick and the fact he made a twin turbo v8 work on a road track is pretty slick.

For those interested in driving other tracks closeby....
Posted by: Dave - 10-16-2006, 04:16 PM - Forum: Events - Replies (27)

Hey guys, I was looking back at my experiences and realized that aside from one event at CMP, all of my driving has been done at VIR and Summit. Now, that isn't all bad, but I'm yearning to learn some new tracks. For now, anybody interested in doing this next year, post up some tracks that you'd like to hit. I'm trying to keep them within 10 hours, which I feel will give us plenty of tracks to work with (granted, I don't really know travel times for a lot of these places). Once we get a decent list, I'd like to determine what groups will be running at the different places see where we can go next year. Basically trying to find a way that we might be able to go as groups, to be able to support each other and work together to reduce costs and such. Here's a list of tracks I've heard and really want to attend in the near future (in no particular order):
-Road Atlanta
-Watkins Glen
-Beaverun
-Mid-Ohio
-Lime Rock
-Rockingham
-Roebling Road

  Metal bearings/bushings
Posted by: Andy - 10-16-2006, 03:22 PM - Forum: Technical Discussion - Replies (12)

For those that use them:
Where did you get them?
Did you have to measure the bore size and then order bushings/bearings from a industrial supplier? Also, is it worth it?
