must be why I bought one

2006 Lotus Exige, 12k miles. 1 of 600.
Track Pack (yay), LSD (why is that even an option?), Touring Pack (meh), 2 peice DBA rotors, harness bar, toe link bar, starshield
if you read my house thread you already saw a pic of it in the garage, here are a couple more pictures.

Originally I was going to buy something comfy and nice to drive to work everyday, but Ive never really felt the need to have my ass coddled in leather.
The Exige has been one of my more 'realistic' dream cars ever since it was released (and the elise before that). It tugs at my soul the way no overweight landbarge "sports car" ever could. I found a killer recession-time deal which prompted me to pull the trigger. Fabulously irrational and irresponsible.
This is going to be one of those cars where I either keep it for the rest of my life, or sell it after a year and say "well that was fun for a while"
I have a few small plans for the car, nothing major but Ill start a project thread when I begin.

After taking the coarse at NOVA this summer what else do I need to do? Sorry for the stupid question,

Just wondering who uses magnetic numbers on the track? How well do they stay on? I often see a piece of tape on the front side of the magnet, which makes me wonder how strong they are.
There are also resuable vinyl numbers available, anyone tried these out?
I was looking around on this site for some:

I met a guy this week with a bunch of cars for sale. This one really sparked my interest. It's a 1987-1988 Nissan 200sx. It's very rare though because it came stock with the 6 cyl 300zx motor in it. It's not currently running for some reason. Probably the same as my mr2 wasn't running. anyways, he only wants 500 for it. It would make a great track car for anyone looking for a new track rat...Justin?
This is the email he sent me: if you want pictures pm your email and i'll forward the email.

So i'm in newport news right now, and as i got off 64 and came to the first traffic light i stalled out....wtf. well as i came to next one i realized the clutch pedal felt funny. well, it's engaging, but it's sticking and then releasing quickly for some reason. also, it feels softer than normal. so i'm thinking, "check fluid." lo and behold i cannot, for the life of me, find the freakin reservoir for the clutch fluid. it's a 1996 subaru legacy, can someone help me?????/

| What don't you like about your cars? |

We're all car fanatics here so I know how picky everyone is about their cars, about both good and bad things! I know most of you well enough to know what you like about your cars, but what don't you like?? What bugs you just a tiny bit, or even bugs the everliving Heck out of you about your car on a daily basis?
I like my car, but I'll start:
1) Seatbelt chime when it's not plugged in. This was addressed in another thread.
2) The navi, which I use 15+ times a day for my job, is not always good at being spot on. I've really got to know what I'm looking for. Also, I hate having to punch the city in every time when it's in the same city.
3) Great highway mileage but craptacular city / highway mix. 93 octane to fill it up.
4) The vinyl part of the leather seats is already wrinkly as hell and cracking. Both driver and passenger.
5) Really loud rattle near OEM sub in rear decklid. Common problem with this car.
6) OEM pads dust like crazy. My wheels are dirty 3 days after cleaning them.
7) The car is way bigger than it needs to be. I'm still not used to driving a 4 door this big after driving the IS300 for so long.
8 ) Something about the factory suspension setup eats tires like it is its job. I had my alignment redone when I put new tires on recently and it was bareeeeellyyy out of spec... but if you saw the tires you would think I had romped it on a dirtbike course.
 How about y'all?
