I am new to MM and JMU as well, I am a freshman.
I have gone to autocross events with my boss back home in Virginia Beach.
I do not have a car as of yet but it is in my plans to get a BMW 3 series at some point.
Just wanted to introduce myself. Definitely interested in your club and I plan on checking in with you guys at Student Org night this week!

So the semester is finally upon us and we have our first event for officers this Tuesday. Student Org night will be Tuesday September 6th for those of you who don't know. Please feel free to stop by and say hi to us but don't plan on staying too long. What we have noticed in the past is that our current members come out and we get into a semi circle blocking our table and talk about cars. Well any other time, this would be fine except new potential members walk up, see a circle with their backs turned, Go like , and walk away. So come and say hi, but then go check out some other clubs or get some rest becasue the fun part comes the next night.

We will do the same as last year with a Showker Deck Meet the following night. Time to determined soon, but we will tell all potentials to come to the showker deck. This is when we need you, our current members to come show them some love. Not the creppy man love but rather some FROG style love. The showker deck will be one of our ONLY HARD PARKING EVENTS OF THE YEAR so if you have a car, bring it, if not show up anyways. We hard park every night in PRUN so we got plenty of practice We will most likely all introduce ourselves and get the new members to do the same. Then we will convoy to an eatery off campus depending on what everyone thinks time of. Either just dessert at Klines or something more filling such as Qdoba. This is truely a cool event and a great way to get to know the new members and get them comfortable with the club. Hope to see all you smiling faces there and try to represent MM with some Swag.

Ok so this is coming up people, and im not gonna lie I am very very excited. Especially since this is going to be a 2 day event or it can be atleast.

Saturday it will be a PAX shootout, work one hour and make as many runs as you want for the other 2 hours. Limited to 50 entrants. Top PAX times get prizes. Still waiting on details from Ray on this one, maybe he can chime in. I see this as an awesome opportunity for a test and tune.

I am retarded, and after my windshield was replaced I realize I dont have my 2011 Annual Tech Sticker. Nationals is charging $100 fee for tech (F***ing ridiculous!). Was wondering if you guys had any access to get me a tech sticker, as my log-book is up to date.

I am looking to do a "how-to" write-up on removing haze, oxidation, yellowing etc. from headlight lenses!

Anyone in MM (in the burg) have yellowed or faded headlights?

First poster gets a free headlight correction as well as a write-up featuring their ride.

I think this sort of thing is neat, so figured I'd re-post for other BMW owners to peruse. I found the way to access the full options list for your car, including build date.

To do this, click on this link (have pop-ups disabled) and then click the "Electronic Parts Catalogue" link on the right side of the page.

The user name is eu111111 and password is bmwetk1. Click Login, and then enter the last 7 of your VIN in the box at the top of the page. Hit Enter. There's an "Options" link that will show up at the very top of the page. Click that, and then you can expand all the fields that pop up to see your build date, car info, and options.

warsaw has given me a new problem with the subaru. entered parking deck using normal operating procedure on the first day of class, after about the 5th speed bump front suspension (im thinking its the left front) began to sound like a dogs chew toy. the impreza has been making this sound in the parking deck ever since or when encountering a dip in the road. any suggestions? (have yet to check the suspension with the tires off)

I recently got a quote from the guy that did my wedding pictures to do a photo shoot of my Challenger around some of the industrial spots in H-burg. Needless to say.....THAT SHIT AIN'T HAPPENIN. I am looking more for a "buy me dinner and some beer" kinda deal. Anyone in MM got a fancy camera and at least some pretend talent and want to lend it to me?

Also, if you were down to ride up to Woodstock I would really like to get some artsy pictures of the car and the dealership before they tear the 60's front off of it to install our big sexy arch and 30 more feet of showroom. Let me know what you guys think.
