Im looking to buy a couple keg shells. Is anyone selling theirs or know where I can buy? OR, if anyone is willing to let me borrow theirs for a weekend (Sept 19th- 22nd), Id be forever in your debt + a case or two.

I found a replacement door for the '02 but need to strip it down and see how good it its. anybody have access (or know of someone) nearby with a sand blasting booth?

if not it'll be paint stripper and sandpaper. :- /

Used these for two track weekend's. Wanted to try 15*8 w/225 tires, and now I'm in need of some extra money.

The wheels were purchased from PTS new, I spray-bombed them Chevy Duplicolor orange. There are some nicks on the wheels now, but no curb rash or bends.

Hey everyone. I'm Jack Martin. I am a junior business major at JMU. I drive a 2004 Honda civic, a 92 Chevy silverado, and my baby, a 1975 Harley FLH. The Honda and the truck are nothing special. I'm also working on my project car which is a 1971 SS El Camino. I love to ride and work on my bike. If anyone wants to ride I am always down. Bear with me because the old girl constantly needs some maintenance. I am all about old Harleys and American Muscle (specifically Chevrolet), but can definitely respect the imports too. Hey whats up guys!! Im Patrick currently a junior at BRCC/ODU with a major in mechatonics and a minor in industrial engineering. I had heard about MM thru one of my good friends Jon Combs. I had tried to start a car club at BRCC but failed due to lack of... well.. mature responsible car enthusiasts. Well I guess heres a little bit about me Im 21, work at Hollister INC. in Facility Maintenance, Im into anything with a steering wheel, guns, love taking pictures, and having a good time. Ive been to VIR probably a dozen times, summit point 5 times, Road Atlanta 2 times. unfortunately Ive only been on track at VIR 2 times and on track at summit point once. Ive done quite a few auto-x with SCCA and PCA, and have been in 2 drift events. right now i have a 1992 240sx and a 2012 VW GLI. here are some pictures, enjoy!

I know it's a little earlier than usual, but I figured I'd start the thread and get things rolling. After our first meeting last night, it seems like we have quite the interest from new members who want to check out VIR. We can coordinate the car pool here assuming the n00bs make accounts and start posting.

Ill be heading down Thursday or Friday and staying through Sunday. Perks of no Friday class and no class Monday until 2:30.

Who's in? Coordinate food for grilling Saturday?

MM introduced me to autocross and while not as glorious as road-course events, I thoroughly enjoy it. I plan to be there with the Sky and would love to see some MM folks there as well. I'm more than happy to offer ride-alongs to interested parties. The wife may be bringing the HHR, which would enable us to offer rides from campus.

*EDIT*: I forgot to mention all cars are welcome, even though it is a porsche event. :thumbup:

For those familiar with autocross, the PCA is a smaller club (13 people are currently registered) and that means more runs. I've attended 3 or 4 events with them to date and each time get 6 to 8 runs. :thumbup:

So I was thinking about cruising over to Katie's cars and coffee in great falls VA this saturday, Ive been there before and it's spectacular, one of the better C&C on the east coast, jalopnik did an article on them kind of recently but if anyone else is interested I wouldn't mind cruising over there with some other MM'ers. If the weather doesn't hold then I will probably not attend as it's nothing special when the weather is gloomy, it's about a 2 hour drive but well worth it.

So the Miata sold, right? And my plan was to buy a $2k 325i with 100k miles from a friend-of-a-friend. Well, after I heard the 325i had been sitting for a few years, and every seal/bushing was probably in need of replacement, I started looking at other 325i's.

And then I thought, "Self, you've owned a few of these BMW Civics, why not expand the search to include those really fancy 325i's that got the stroker motor with different camshafts from the factory?"

...and that's how I ended up buying an M3.

It's a 1997. 145k on the clock. Was a Houston car up 'til 2006ish, went to New Jersey, and then was purchased by a guy named Pierce who took it to college in Wake Forest, NC. It was his college car for the past five years, and now he sold it to buy a new 135i. :evileye:

Typically "college car" means "run away fast" but this one is a slightly different case. Pierce is an enthusiast but not a DIY-er, which means he (with Daddy's credit card, presumably) took it to the same indy-Euro-shop in NJ every time he was home, and said "do what it needs!" and handed them an AmEx.

He paid to have the door handle gaskets replaced. Really. Bills between $1,500 and $3,500 every time.

TL;DR: It's in pretty good shape for the age and price.

Has TCKline S/A coilovers, Bavarian Sound Works speakers, and a B&M short shifter. I like the shifter but not the knob. If anyone has a stock ///M knob, PM me plz.

Plans are to throw racing seats in it, Navin's Momo steering wheel, and find a Kirk 4-point rollbar. Then it's TTD time. With some pace-car-duty thrown in there. It's wildly fun to drive as it sits.
