that may or may not happen
i know my asking price is definitely high, but i'm not iching to sell it soon
if that becomes the case then i'll lower the price a good amount, depending on what i spend on a different car. You can never afford the car you really want

if the car you really want is "realistic" then yes you can. i'd say anything under $35k is doable for someone with a decent job out of college.

All depends on what your priorities are. If you want to live at home with mom and dad, and not drive at the track, then sure a $35k car is no problem.

Maeng has a 30k car, he lives on his own, he also tracks. It can be done

i agree, i mean you could afford a $700 monthly payment easily if you're living at home and have a decent job, but that all depends if you're willing to pay $700/month + whatever downpayment (2-3k) for 5 years...that's a lot for that amount of time for me ( and most of us out of college ) at this point.
I'll stick to < 8k right now until i start making more money and saving more. Eventually i'd like to put a heavy down payment so i can pay less in interest.

well, i've got roommates and my rent is dirt cheap. i still think it can be done with a few sacrifices though. god forbid, but cutting my social budget (ie: bar tabs) would help me out a lot and is very doable for someone that isnt me.
