i had my bike sideways on Sunday trying to dodge some sloot who thought she could turn against 2 lanes of traffic and virtually come to a stop in my lane, before actually entering the parking lot she was headed for. Haven't had a close call like that since college.

If its under 40, I'm taking the truck - too much chance for black ice, and there's a massive construction site next to my office - they cant manage to keep mud/water off the road.

For the track? If ambient is below 60F I'm done. I've done colder but never again, atleast not without tire warmers and cold weather Under Armor. At JMU I would ride to/from every day, despite weather.
