if only Cooter's Place was still open in Sperryville. that would make a bangin road trip.

A few days in London, a few days in Paris, then renting a car (I think it's gonna be either a mercedes c200 or bmw 320) and driving to germany.
FUN!

Aw man you've gotta get the 320!
And while you're England you've gotta visit one of the F1 team headquarters or Prodrive.

Well the dates I posted were the ones we're considering. It looks like Mikey and I agree that the week with F1 at Suzuka and Super GT at Autopolis would be the one we wanna do for 2006.

Have you been to jazzfest before? Me and some buds went for a bachelor party. Great time and Burbon Street is almost as lively as at Mardi Gras. Definate vote for that if I'm in town at that point.
John
Suzuka is in Nagoya which is about 2 hours from Tokyo I think. Autopolis is in Fukuoka which is on the Southern most of Japan's main islands (Kyushu). It looks like we can take the Shinkansen (BULLET TRAINARU!!!) all the way to Fukuoka though.

Should we break this into separate sticky threads for each trip? Right now its Japan F1/Super GT and Laguna Seca Moto GP.
NASA Nationals (Mid Ohio) is a given, since I'm sure at least one out of the 3 of us who will be racing next season will be going. A few other possibilities could be 12 Hours of Sebring, 24 Hours of Daytona, Bike Week in Daytona (replete with Superbike racing), Supermoto A Go Go (which was in Reno last year but might be in Vegas for 06), Petit Le Mans (1000 km race at Road Atlanta), and the Canadian and US F1 rounds. Oh, and there's the Cape Bretton TT, which will be the sister even to the Isle of Man. Cape Bretton is in Nova Scotia and the event is in September.
Of those I might be interested in Sebring, Bike Week, or Supermoto A Go Go (depending on where it is). I'd also be down for a World Challenge event, I'm not sure who they're running with as a support series next year though.

Ive never been, but friends who have been tell me its better than Mardi Gras. Not nearly as packed with people and a much better ratio. Oh yeah and the jazz is nice too

Probably not, I just wanted to see how much the airfare cost and the days you were looking at going. I don't think I can swing it though.
