Guys I'm waiting with my finger on the trigger to hear a responce from Chris and Ryan. If someone can contact them, maybe give them a nudge to come to a decision. It's a big decision, I completely understand, its just important at this point for them to at least let us know that they are talking it out and their ETA for a responce.

In other news, I asked the guy about specifics on which cars have titles:

one or two do, but I am not certain where they are at the moment. the red 86 and the white 87 I have had in my name, but the 87 silver has no title, and the 88 I have the title to, but have never had it transfered, but I will try to find what I have for you.

I object to buying all 4/5 cars, but at the same time if thats what the club majority wants to do, I'm not going to stand in the way. I think we should pick out the best two, offer him like $350 for the both of them.

If it is decided that we get all of them, and steve cannot store them, we need to have that figured out. I don't want a big clusterfuck of trying to figure out where to store 5 cars after we get them back to the burg. They'll tow the cars if they are parked in visitor spots with no tags on them.

We need more information on the cars though. Pictures, do any of them run, how severe are the problems, all of those things. If they are all basically junkers with shit for engines theres no point in buying them all. Just my .02.

Having 5 cars is a lot to worry about, no doubt. It might be an income source if they aren't used for GRM though. THe Mustang could be sold to someone wanting to make a drag car that woudln't need anything but a chassis anyhow. And if we do get tired of them, they are only a junkyard away from being gone. Dave or someone calculate the opportunity cost of getting 5 vs. 3.

Regardign the chos of storing, I completely agree. And not to add chaos, but sometimes you can't have all the details in place at the time of an opprotunity. So sweat the details, but not so much that the opportunity slips away (if it is an opportunity we really want).

I'm still waiting on a firm desision, so please just let me know as SOON as possible.

Also, Pete knows someone who is starting to work for parking services, and we will hear from her tomorrow if there could be a possibility of keeping them in an on-campus lot for a couple weeks.
