before MM -- Civic Si with Evo exhaust, indeglo's, oversized wheels with under-sized tires, eBay short shifter, aem CAI, amps/subs, more money on $bling$, and a lead-foot for vtec on the roads....(want to see pictures? - i'll post them for the before/after affect...)

ps - i didn't hate from the alumni side because i used to be a hardcore ricer and wasn't aware...then i got bitch-slapped by the hand of MM...

after MM -- Integra RS with Koni's, GC w/ 500#, Azenies on track wheels, ditched the sound system (although the ricer in me wants more bass in my car...), a better/slower driver on the roads, and saving $$ for track days

i thank Scotty for brining me to MM and MM for showing me the light

whatever It wasn't aftermarket though, all OEM so i would classify the interior swap as an Enthusiast move instead of a ricer move :wink:

i learned that i never want to do interiors unless i have to, but they're a lot easier than i could've imagined though

fuck that, i never said i wasnt a ricer. its MM that helped me see the light though. and my integra had 16's on it, bitch. its just that those things weighed probably 25 lbs each. and i had the blue badges because my regular acura badges got jacked in one of the GMU parking lots one night. but yeah i was a ricer and still am to some extent. i mean, bronze valve cover? c'mon...

and there's nothing wrong with a little oontz in the car. i dont drive around blastin gangsta shit and setting off car alarms. fuck i listen to pearl jam and foo fighters. thats not gangsta at all, but the bass makes the music sound better in my opinion.

but yes, we all have the same ricer heritage if you reach back far enough

Sorry folks. I never wanted chrome reeeemz, or mad oontz, or a fistable exhaust.

The closest I got was M3 mirrors for my truck...because they were cheaper than an OEM replacement. And I had altezzas, because, yep, they were cheaper than stock replacements. (And they did look good on the silver truck.)

Sooo....am I the exception to the MM Ricer rule?
