pretty cool - they have a lot of live music that's been recorded, and archived. You can download an entire set, or just a single song, plus the encores. It may not have much for some genres, but i was just kind of searching around for some bluegrass and stuff and it had a lot of that.

Welcome to 1998 8) I personally love that site - you can use it to get pages that have been taken down years ago.

I just stumbled across it looking for a particular live show - the guitar tabs for a song played at that show. Did the internet even need archiving by 1998? What was there like 47 AOL member profile webpages that needed to be stored?

I like a lot of the aspects of the old page.. I like the members section and how up front it is... I also like the news section and how its organized.

There was an older MM site too where I remember making fun of the VT car club on the front page banner after we beat them at an autocross. Oh how I wish I still had that.

Speaking of that.. whatever happened to that College Challenge Autocross? No more interest? I'm guessing it doesn't exist anymore..

I think that was kind of a one-time deal Smile

We got approval for it... but there's no way it was ever going to happen again. Realistically the lot was too small too - but we had a great time.

i still have it....looked like a great time between launching that GSX, Chan spinning, slaloming the concrete divides :lol: and then at the end someone calls RJ a homo, haha

yeah, the convo lot was waaaaayy too small. i think g was driving chan's fiero when it spun and i also think it was matt that called ryan a homo at the end. good times...

i can distinctly recall that video of his engine disintegrating. it circulated the internet pretty fast. like a week after i first saw it i saw it again on some board and everyone was talking about what an idiot he was to challenge an M3 :roll:
