Went by Blue Ridge Powersports today and they were amazing! I explained the situation and they agreed to match any price I could find online. So we went online on their computers and they helped me find the best prices.

Got a $130 HJC helmet for $90 and a jacket (forget the brand) normally $160 for $140. They had to order the jacket though for me so have to wait till thursday to pick it up. Doesnt really matter because I dont pick up the bike until wednesday/thursday. So looks like by friday I should be able to finally ride. Im pretty pumped.

Have you already paid for it? It's gonna be winter by the time you can actually ride it

IDK man im really frustrated. I left a deposit with the guy and I havent heard from him in over a week. Its like he disappeared off face of earth. My dad said he had a really nice house, nice cars, garage with other bikes so he doubts hes trying to scam me of $100 but i dont know. Pretty frustrated. Going to look at a 2006 CBR 600rr today. Then probably just go ahead and pick this one up if it checks out. Tired of messing around. I know it might not be best bike to learn on but its such a good deal. Will go back to claim my $100 deposit at some point though from the other guy.

Pics coming once I find a camera. But it feels good to actually have a bike. Now to get my deposit back from the last guy.

Got my first ride in today. LOL you guys would laugh at me. Drove it around a parking lot for about 20-30 minutes. Top speed of 23 mph hahaha. Maybe take it out later on real roads. Time for class though.

Thats the way to do it. Take it slow and don't put it on the roads until your comfortable in the parking lot.
