I agree with you that the C5 would be more of a sports car...but it'd also have miles on it at this point. Also, this is for my mom really, who is 46, and doesnt want to have to crawl into a car every time she gets into it. She really liked the right height of the car, and you're getting a C6 motor and C6 tranny...which, last i checked, was superior to the C5. As for the SRT8....like 6 grand more for a slower, less fuel efficient, 4 door beast. Sure it has 25 more HP...but it's offset big time.

I dont think I'd call it anything less than a sports car the way it is. Maybe it's a muscle car even. 2 doors, 2 bucket seats in back, v8 power, 2 doors...sounds like a 2 + 2 muscle car to me

The only reason I say that is I've got exactly that in my Benz and it's classified as a Grand Tourer...it's just classification...like the 612 Ferrari is a Grand Tourer...definatelly a sports car....that's what I mean

and if you couldn't tell...I'm all about the GT class...the best of all worlds (at least before kids)
