SPDIF ftw!

SPDIF lets you input from any digital audio source, and the conversion to an analog sound signal doesnt take place until the signal gets to the sound card. This is pretty much a must have for any kind of recording or ripping..and is good for outputting too.
Most higher-end DVD Players have them, and most of the population has no idea what it's for.
I have the sigmaTel 6 channel card. 20 bit full duplex, headphone drive support, up to 5 general purpose input/outputs, +- 90dB signal to noise ratio...pretty awesome stuf
