Well, I've owned a DSM, and I owned a 240, admittedly not an SR. The only problem I ever had with my Talon was a crank pulley seperation, which was pretty easy to fix (once I got the fenderwell off).
The 240, IMHO, was alot more difficult to work on, enginewise. I'd buy another AWD DSM in a heartbeat if I had the cash for a decent one. They're not fantastic track cars, sure, but they are hands down oen of the most enjoyable multipurpose cars ever created. It's the Bob the Builder of sport compacts.
Can we autocross? Yes we can!
Can we run on track? Yes we can!
Can we drive back and forth to work every day...in the snow?!? Yes we can!
