I literally meant that I don't get it. Why would somebody pay that much for a car that is 20 years old and from what I can tell has nothing really special about it.
I'm happy to learn what the appeal is, if somebody will lay it out there. Does it have some marvelous engine? Super-rare sports car? Broken some kind of record?
I guess I look at it in the sense that my Supra was in showroom condition and meticulously maintained, came with a ton of extra parts, well-documented, and is extremely well-known, yet asking 18k was a stretch and took a long time to sell... How does this car sell for more than that and, to me, is just another Benz?
