Project Poopra *Turbo #2*
#41
Well it's been a couple monthes since I updated this thread but a lot has gone down. I thought for sure that the Supra was sold to a guy who came into sheetz wanting to buy it. He gave me a few deposits on the car, which I kept, and had planned to put to something different. While the sell was in limbo I sold the turbo kit (that I bought for $700) for $1700. Made more profit than my initial investment w00t. Anyways, buyer fell through so basically I kept the car and went from $600 in debt to $1800 in the positive. So I bought another turbo kit, but this one is all new, and all complete. I'll still have to buy another wideband (sold the other with the kit), safc, and a few little things like heat wrap for the oil return and a few more couplers. But here it is:

All nice and packaged:

A little something for the IC piping to run too

A shiny manifold

I know there's a picture of Dave floating around with a supra downpipe and a dumb grin, so I had to do it too

And the moment you've all been waiting for

Turbo is a T57 with a 1.15 hotside so the boost will come on nice and smooth instead of dumping all at once and a .6 cold side. If I don't like the big hotside I can buy a .7 or .8 hotside for about $80 and sell mine for $120.
