- .RJ - 01-12-2007 I'll even qualify my hateÔäó a little... and these are just ebay store prices... can likely do better on an R6 forum $100 (stock rearsets) $100 (fairing stay) $30 (stock windscreen) $15 (clip on t00b) $130 (upper fairing) $140 (right lower fairing) Wash it up, and thats about all she'll need. - Feersty - 01-12-2007 .RJ Wrote:Feersty Wrote:Looks to be just under $1000 worth of damage. 500R fairings. Questionable muskrat, overjuice delivery spice. - .RJ - 01-12-2007 I think maybe he bent his left handed smoke shifter too - Chris - 01-13-2007 damn Matt, glad you're ok man. just one more reminder the activities we all love can be extremely dangerous. don't skimp on safety gear! - SameeRR - 01-13-2007 Damn Matt. I felt like throwing up in my mouth when I heard you wrecked. I dont care what Feersty and RJ are arguing about when it comes to pricing the damage. But as a Category Crash rider myself, I can tell you that fixing the bike will run you a fair bit OVER 1000 bucks. Ron Ayres is the place to go. I won't say "Glad you're OK." But I will say Glad its not worse. Take care man. - WRXtranceformed - 01-13-2007 Glad you're ok dude! For what it's worth, it doesn't take much at all to break your collar bone... I think it's a very marginal amount of pressure to do it. Sounds like you took a brutal head hit though, thank God for your helmet! Ride safe guys... - .paul - 01-13-2007 damn I had no idea - matt i am glad you are okay - speedy recovery. you can use this story to your advantage to pick up chicks ![]() lemme know if you want to use a garage to work on the bike - ScottyB - 01-13-2007 glad you're ok! your gear took some serious punishment...its a good thing you had it on. - .RJ - 01-13-2007 SameeRR Wrote:I can tell you that fixing the bike will run you a fair bit OVER 1000 bucks. But anyway, for those of you who I saw today at the show in DC, t'was good seeing you. - Dragon - 01-15-2007 1) Graphics are nothing more than stickers, therefore even if I chose to replace them it wouldn't be that expensive. 2) Because my bike isn't that rare, spare used plastics are in abundance. 3) I have a full set of stock plastics for the bike (painted cheetah race body work was on it). Therefore the bike can be put back on the road for the cost of a fairing stay, wind screen, and right side rearset. Priced it up over the weekend, the bike will be back street worthy for under $200. - Feersty - 01-15-2007 Well glad to hear that you did it cheaply! How is the recovery going? - Dragon - 01-15-2007 Feersty Wrote:Well glad to hear that you did it cheaply!
