friend of a friend has a '94 Honda CB 1000, ~40k miles, ready to go, good shape, runs well, guy needs to sell quick. Was looking for $3700, but is now in a hurry and will take $2000. Of course, it's down in Hotlanta, but I'll bring it to ya! :lol: *dead*

Today the club purchased a large outdoor banner from Events and Conferences for $20. Its blank so Scotty (our artist) can create a show design!

It will be displayed in the Commons from Tuesday, April 19- Saturday the 23rd for the show.

Anyone who wants to help out in painting, let us know.

since i dont want to pay the extra in insurance for a salvaged bike... i figured this sitemight help the stunters out... and those crazy enough to ride a salvaged bike and pay the insurance.

I pulled my intake manifold off today. I suspected that my vacuum leak had something to do with the retard shop that messed everything else. So long story short, the plenum gaskets were fouled with blowby. They were wet. And there's little reliefs in the plenum where all this blowby collected. At least I hope it's blowby. When that stuff collects and cools, it kind of looks like a real thin oil right? I'm not burning oil and my plugs are clean. On another note, Extrude Hone is cool. My plenum which was honed was pretty dirty, where as my runners which were honed, was clean as could be. Pretty cool

So um...I was waiting for someone to bring this up, but seeing as thurday is drawing nearer and nearer and nobody has said anything...anybody interested in having a little club pool? If theres any interest shown in this thread perhaps we can discuss details here before wed's meeting...

I saw a grey E30 325 tonight with the license Late APX and a roll bar! It had some kinda bling wheels but def a track car... I would have left a note but didn't have anything to use... someone try and find out who that is!

Hey guys,

i know most of you are familiar with honda's and i think some of you are familiar with this problem, but it appears that i'm burning some oil and smoke is puffing out of the exhaust. After researching some things i found out that it could be one of two things: Valve seals going bad and Piston Rings wearing.

What do you guys think i should do?

Other symptoms: After driving form Columbus, SC to Melbourne, FL i lost about 1/2 qt of oil, going into vtec range a few times.

We're planning on a BBQ and wrench day this Thursday the 17th(St. Patty's day). It will be at Hunter's in Fox Hills (1531) bc he has some flat parking spaces that are right near grills and picnic benches. We can wrench and grill out with some golden beverages. start the work early afternoon and go from there.

We'll start at 1pm for lunch- the club will have burgers and soda. BYOB and other food if you want. We'll have tools, jacks, etc- just let us know if there is a specific tool you need.

**there is snow in the forecast- so this depends on that!**
