Posted by: rome138 - 04-07-2005, 06:44 PM - Forum: Appearance/Cosmetic - Replies (12)

hey anyone work with repairing fiberglass or knows how?
i drive an eclipse and my front kit is the blitz shape. it got torn a little like a year and a half ago and ever since then its been growing and growing (naturally). well i'm eventually going to sell it but i was thinking of trying to fix it myself to make it look somewhat presentable. i was thinking of buying one of those fiberglass kits that comes with everything you need. but i've never done this before. i've seen a step or two done of the process once but thats about it. any suggestions and/or know of anyone that can help me? i go to jmu and i'm a senior. jack told me to post here and maybe somone could help. i'll put up pics tomorrow of damage and show you all.

also anyone have any tools like a jack and other thigns i may need for this job.

thanks peps

  electronics help

OK guys, need some help.
I love Chad's little remote mount camera that he uses out on track that feeds back into his digital camcorder. Where can I get one of these setups for a decent price that will still have good quality recording?
On a side note, I don't intend on installing a rollbar, seats, harnesses and all that jazz at the moment. I wanted to make sure that it would be okay if I devised a cushioned container for my camcorder which could be affixed to the car so that it could not come loose and still pass tech.

  Cleaning up
Posted by: JackoliciousLegs - 04-07-2005, 11:01 AM - Forum: Site Suggestions/Status - Replies (25)

Recently, I found an MM post on a search bot that contained profanity. In an effort to reduce stuff like that, I'm gonna start censoring words.

I know what you all are thinking, but you guys can still go at it. I really don't think we should come off to the public this profanely. We have a reputation to uphold.

Let me hear your thoughts.

Wonder if this is why my gas mileage has been sucking

To anyone that has a CAI with the filter in a direct path to outside airflow (like my AEM CAI), I'd suggest cleaning it often, maybe as often as every 5,000 miles.
