Somebody please take this car off my hands. I'm moving cross country later this week to a small temporary apartment -- no room for this car.
It's a '94 Montego Blue Mica RX-7 (3rd gen) with the Touring Package, and nearly everything on the car is original or OEM parts -- nearly always serviced by Mazda dealers.
The car has about 78000 miles. I'm the original owner, having bought the car new in August 1994. The engine and turbos are original. The car runs fine, but idles a little high. It needs a little bit of work to be restored to a reliable daily driver, or it could be the start of a project race/autocross car.
Email me if you're interested. I'm offering this at a sacrifice price of $6000. 3rd gen RX7s this cheap usually have collision damage or a salvage title, etc.
This car is straight, never wrecked, normal VA title, and the engine starts right up.
Car is located in Fairfax Station VA. Come look at it, and if you'll help me bleed the brakes, you can even take a short test drive (short because it is not currently registered).
This is a very limited time offer. If the car doesn't sell by July 13th, I'll likely ship it cross country and rent a storage unit for it.
Email me if interested.

I need some excitement in my life. I've been toying around with buying a sports car, but anyone can go buy one.
So, I've been thinking about doing something completely insane. I want to build an open wheel F1 style mid-engine car.
I'm thinking a Boxer 4-cylinder engine, steel frame with rollcage, whatever transmission is feasible.
The goal of the project would be to make a light weight, cornering monster.
My question is...if I can build the frame and body components, does anyone have any idea how to build in the motor, suspension, trans, rear def, steering, and breaking?
Gauge cluster is an issue, but that can be done with a digital display.
and BTW...I've not been drinking and I know this sounds crazy, but damn it would be cool.

Hey, Im going to see a car (civic of course  ) tonight and had planned on getting it inspected at a shop tommorow, but something came up and I cant do that anymore. SO, anybody wanna come with me either tonight or tommorow to see the car, someone who has exp with this kinda thing? Ive asked this a million times before, and I usually get volunteers =D but i realize this is short notice.
Im going late tonight to see it for the first time, and then could go back tommorow with anybody that wants to come, so I could get there opinion. Guy is right arround me (annandale area). If anybody wants to come see it tonight im going to a place arround the fuddruckers on 236, pretty late (arround 10) to accomodate the both of us. Tommorow can be anytime.
Any helpers?
