  CNU 2004-2005 autoshow
Posted by: damnit458 - 09-22-2005, 10:11 PM - Forum: Lounge - Replies (35)

Thought some of you might find this interesting. This is a link to pictures from the CNU autoshow from last year. A friend showed me these yesterday. For those of you who have been to our past ones, its just something to compare it to. Anyway, have a look!

  New (old) Autos

Ok, we'll start with Julie's car. There haven't been any pictures of it yet, so here's Julie's 05 ZX3 Focus:

Next is Dad's "new" 500 dollar Dodge Dakota 2.5: (thanks Jeff!)

Finally, here's Mom's 2000 Jetta TDI:

Shaq Diesel!

I am very tempted to have the VW Fairy visit the Jetta one weekend when they're away. There are some chips out there to boost to 130hp (and like, 220lb-ft) and then there's always all of the cosmetic goodies that can be put on there. 5 Speed (of course) and while it's not a screaming monster, it does get a bajillion miles to the gallon (or supposed to, we picked it up this afternoon) which makes my father happy and it's sporty, which makes my mother happy. We just recently sold our 626, and while the Mazda had leather and some other stuff, and while the Jetta's interior is fighting a losing battle, I like the VeeDub waaaay better.

how do you tell tint darkness?
Posted by: Myuki - 09-22-2005, 12:35 AM - Forum: Appearance/Cosmetic - Replies (39)

I ran into a police checkpoint today, :x and the officer said my tint was too dark. Now, I bought it that way, and I read up that it is 35% light transmission through the glass and tint combined. So, my question is; how do you tell?

All season tires for an E36 M3?
Posted by: NaptownE36 - 09-21-2005, 09:38 PM - Forum: Lounge - Replies (9)

Hey guys, thought I'd see what other E36 owners are running as their all seasons. I'm getting some Hankook's (RSS Z211s) as my track tires, but they won't last long on the road. The Pirelli Pzero Niro M&S tires seem to come in at a decent price and since they're available on Tirerack I can get them shipped to an installer literally across the street, which is very convenient. Any thoughts?

John
