Good to see VW returning one of its cult nameplates. Unfortunately its probably not going to be a lightweight, but nowadays what is?

Posting for a friend of mine, was thinking one of you guys may want to jump on this:
Any REASONABLE offer will be considered.
I know they are not in the greatest shape, but they are in better shape than not having any at all. I can work with the buyer to get a new wheel. I have several vendors that can get them to replace the damaged one.
I DO NOT WANT TO SHIP!!!! I am LAZY (acutally with my job i have no time any more to do anything ) if the price is right i will consider, at buyers expense. I will drive up to a certain distance to meet up...
I JUST NEED THESE GONE!!!!...I NO LONGER OWN A SUBARU
I have a set of 18x8.5 Work Emotions - flat black in color
Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3 - fits 05 Sti
Offset: Will get that when i go out to the garage to look at them
Tires: Perrelli 225x40x18 with about 60% tread left
Condition: 2 wheels are perfect
1 wheel has some curb rash
1 wheel can not be saved, I have been doing experiements with it. I broke it on a curb
THE TIRE IS STILL GOOD
Price: Best Offer, best price takes them.
Shipping: Do to the hassle I will not ship these, so they are for pick up only

| Jeff's Turbocharger Rebuild Thread |

I have decided to rebuild my turbo myself instead of paying someone $300 to do it for me. I have called every "trucking service" place here locally to try to get my "turbine shaft and wheels balanced" and I have had 15-20 rednecks laughing at me saying "why the heck would you need to do that!?" What should I do here? One place was real bad I could here the whole office laughing and the woman tells the service guy who is coming to answer the call "thats what he said, really, balance the turbocharger HAHAHA!!" So yeah, this sucks. I have the rebuild kit coming and the only piece of the puzzle missing is the balancing of the wheelsI forgot to mark them when I took them out. Ill post some pics of the tore down turbo when I get back from lunch. Anyone know of a place who wont laugh?

The eclipse is broke . Well i knew i had an exhaust leak, but upon further inspection we found a crack in the mani. No biggie, it can be rewelded, and i just gotta order a new DP gasket to fix the exhaust leak. The thing that is relly pissin me off is this. I went to crank the car up before knowing bout the manifold. Would turn over like normally does, but it wouldnt crank, i continue to try, nothing. I hear my Fuel Pump priming, look under the hood im showing fuel pressure on the gauge. So i figure its a spark problem, test my coil, get some funky numbers, replace it with my old one that was originally on the car. Car turns over and over for bout ten seconds, sputters, then cranks and runs. Turn it off to test again, nothing until about 15-20 seconds later it sputters, sputters, then picks up and runs normal. Drive aroudn the parking lot, car cuts off and wont crank again. I have yet to check my Spark plugs, or my wires, but i figured it woudl atleast crank and it would be missing being as the odds of all four of them going out is like slim to none. I have read were my injectors may be sticking open, and flooding the engine???? or it could be my cam sensor????? Any other ideas as to why my POS isnt starting???? Also, no weird smoke, no oil spraying everywhere, no fuel leaks. Battery is fine, starter is fine, alternator is fine.
Sorry for the lengthy post.

I am in need of a winter riding gear. Jacket and gloves for sure and likely pants. Where do you guys shop for gear? Do you know of any good (cheap) online stores?
I am thinking I will price it out on the net, and have my local shop order it for me.

For those that don't know, OG racing is having a sale. When I spoke to them, I was lead to believe that the biggest discounts would be for suits but also the SA00 helmets are currently on closeout prices due to the release of SA05 so an entry level helmet can be picked up for low 200's.
