Knowledge Database or something to that effect
Posted by: Andy - 12-02-2005, 12:14 PM - Forum: Lounge - Replies (1)

I've been thinking that between a lot of us, we have worked on an ungodly amount of cars and considering that it seems we drive the same sort of cars, we should start a How-To resource. Granted, there is a lot of how-to's on the interweb, it would be great to have a MM one and also, since we know who each other, we can ask the source directly.
Here's some general ideas:

-Each how-to must have detailed pictures and a standardized format that we can all agree to.

-Imagine all the Miata/240/Honda's we've all owned. They would be a great help. Not to mention, some of us have/still own some random cars that do not have a lot of information support on the interweb.

-Maybe have it in a separate section of the forum with subfolders broken down my cars.

What else?

  F/S E-gay RFL BOV

So, here is my big loud BOV from e-bay. It is for anyone who might want it at $50 OBO. It is a pretty good thing even though it is not a "real" RFL. I'm including the aluminum bung for putting it on a bling pipe and a stock pipe from a 1st Gen DSM. LMK people.

A thank-you and some needed help...
Posted by: ultimagtrlover - 12-01-2005, 07:25 PM - Forum: Lounge - Replies (20)

First of all, I would like to thank everyone for giving me a prize for the GT4 tournament. The only problem is, with my gift certificate, I am thinking of getting a set of Silverstar headlight bulbs on the Crossfire instead of more detailing supplies. Anyone agree to this or should I wait and maybe I could get HID's? FYI, the Crossfire has a projector-style headlamp (H7).

  Greddy Turbo timer
Posted by: Jeff - 12-01-2005, 12:44 AM - Forum: For Sale/Trade, WTB - Replies (11)

Hey guys,
I have one of the original non-automatic greddy turbo timers. I paid $75 for it less then a year ago, and it was new but older. It isn't any bling but it works great. Anyone wanna make me an offer? I would like to get it gone as I no longer need it.

  Please Help!

I need some advice on what could be a life changing decision.

I've suspected for some time now that my g/f has been cheating on me. The usual signs. Phone rings, I answer, someone hangs up. She started going out 'with the girls' a lot recently although when I ask which girls it is always "Just some friends from work, you don't know them".

I always look out for her ride coming home but she always walks from aroud the corner, I can usually hear a car driving off as she walks towards our house. If it really is a friend why not just get dropped off in front? I once picked her cell phone up just to see what time it was and she went beserk and screamed that I should never touch her phone again, and why was I checking up on her.

Anyway, I have never approached the subject with my g/f. I think deep down I just didn't want to know the truth but last night she went out again and I decided to check on her. I decided I was going to hide behind my car, which would give me a view of the whole street so I could see which car she was getting out of. Well, it was while I was crouched behind my car I noticed my exhaust sucks.

Should I buy the greddy evo2 or should I check out the hks carbon-ti? Or should I just leave it stock. Its a big decision so I thought I would ask for your advice. What do you guys think?

Want to borrow cylinder head drill kit
Posted by: HAULN-SS - 11-30-2005, 11:03 PM - Forum: Technical Discussion - Replies (2)

Does anyone have one of those kits that lets you machine out your valve spring seats and the seal bosses and stuff on your cylinder heads? Basically a thing to hold your drill steady as far as I can tell...
