I get this message..whats up wtih that?

Dad took the S-10 to the dealership, it had been leaking antifreeze like crazy the past few weeks. It cost $84 to get an estimate. It needs a new head gasket, which is about $1,1xx. The d00d says the truck is not driveable. Another car that will be donated to Salvation Army... It will be our third...lol I really need to be buying a car this weekend. :roll: It has a 87,6xx miles. My dad bought it in 1998.


Edit: My family doesn't do auto repairs, we ask the dealer to do it. I want to change this though.

How am I supposed to figure out the difference between the E30 325e and 325i? And what oil I should use? And get how-to's and incorrect explanations on things well detailed in any service manual? Euro bumpers and smileys and paint codes, oh my!

It is geared toward turbo dodge but all oil filters from the same makers are the same. The filters actually looked at are for a 5.0 ford...which happens to fit a TD. Its a good read. I will never buy a Fram again.
