  Introduction/Lynchburgh BRR-SCCA Feb. 26
Posted by: r3pp3r - 01-20-2006, 02:12 PM - Forum: Events - No Replies

Hey, I'm the President of CAV, the UVA car club. Some of us and some CCVT people are gonna be in lynchburg on the 26th for the BRR-SCCA Autocross. We're not trying to do anything official, but I would like to get a chance to meet some people from other virginia school clubs. Anyone from MM planning on going?

Excellent Afghan war thread to read if you're bored
Posted by: WRXtranceformed - 01-20-2006, 10:34 AM - Forum: Lounge - Replies (2)

This thread has become so popular in the Mid-Atlantic regional NASIOC forum that it's become stickied. One of the members' brothers is a platoon leader for one of our units over in Afghanistan, and the thread is compiled of emails + pictures of their day to day adventures. They range from the mundane to the dangerous to the humorous. Regardless, it's a really cool perspective into the "Forgotten War" as he calls it. Enjoy it!

Hey guys. I just wanted to introduce myself a little bit. I located this board by googleing Virginia car clubs. Anyways....

My name is Bobby. I'm 20 years old and live in Elkton, Virginia. I have a 1998 Dodge Neon R/T thats kitted. Ummm, I'm currently going through a divorce and I have a beautiful 4 year old son. I just joined to meet new friends and maybe look into getting into a car club. I have located a few Neon's in the valley and have been trying to catch up with them to maybe even start a little club.

Thanks,
Bobby

Aston Martins to join World Challenge GT

Even though I think World Challenge could possibly be heading down the road to ruin, this is damned good news! We'll have to head on down to Road Atlanta to check em out!

NOTE: The DBRS9 is also a car built by Prodrive but it is at a milder spec than the the Le Mans DBR9's that Prodrive has been campaigning.

  HID Issues
Posted by: D_Eclipse9916 - 01-19-2006, 10:09 PM - Forum: Technical Discussion - Replies (16)

Let me say I fucking HATE HIDS. I have had two kits in my goddamn car and both have died. I Was wondering if someone tomorrow would take a look at my car and the HIDs and maybe figure something out as to what the problem is. If they cant im just forgetting the whole HID thing for a long ass time. The only reason I have these kits was I got them from friends in return for work on their cars. (They volunteered to give them to me)......

Someone please help!!

Need a ride up to Harrisburg, Pa
Posted by: .RJ - 01-19-2006, 05:32 PM - Forum: Lounge - Replies (52)

Probably next week sometime, or possibly next weekend to pick "something" up, if anyone is available. I'll pay for gas, of course.

I'm waiting on the seller to get the title for it before I head up to pick it up, and he should have it next week.
