in light of all these brake threads....yeah, another one.
i need new front pads, and i was just curious if anyone knows of a vendor running sales on the following brands:
Carbotech
Ferodo
Hawk
Pagid
Mintex
i have been doing alot of searching but all the googlage in the world won't prevent me from overlooking a smaller vendor who might be running some great prices.
any of you track whores got a hookup? Carbo or Ferodo preferred.

If any of you run across a sub $1500 trailer for sale, care to let me know? I'm looking for an open trailer and would prefer a full, metal floor.
Thanks,
Peter

I'm not 100% sure but this looks like Road Atlanta coming off turn 12 onto the front straight. A pretty damned good hit if I ever saw one...

| any Windows pros out there to help with this annoyance? |

You know what honestly is the main thing I dislike about Windows? XP, 2000, 98, whatever, they've all done it. When I'm launching an application or opening another window, but working in a window or application that's already open, every time the background window has something going on, it jumps to the front. I click back. It jumps up again, "I'm almost done loading! Use me!" NO DIE BITCH I'LL GET TO YOU WHEN I'M GOOD AND READY. So I'm trying to type something and it keeps getting screwed up.
Any of you seen a hack or fix for this? It bugs the hell out of me. Always has.

ok, I just realized I can get rid of this pretty easy. I owe about $7800 on the bike, I will sell it for $6500 and use one of those checks that go through to your credit card to pay the rest.
So for $6800 you get the bike (about 2100 miles) fresh oil chage (and I do mean fresh, rode it home and put it away), 3 year extended warrenty, blue HJC helmet.
When you buy it, if you pay in cash (preferred) or cashiers check that I can take and cash, the bike is yours right then. It will take me a while (I am not sure exactly how long) to get the title to the bike since the finance company holds the title. I would think as soon as they receive the total payment it would be in the mail to me, which I will bring to you.
Bike was laid over one in soft muddy grass, cleaned up perfectly with no scratches. I could easily not tell anyone that it happened but I like being honest.
anyway... ON WITH THE PICS!!!!

Looks like Supermoto is gonna score some high profile venues for 06. No word on the AMA schedule but you have to think that they'll be running at least 1 of the same places as these three for the amateur series: http://www.supermotoracer.com/0106_JAN_ ... an_06.html
NOTE: NASMOTO is sort of at the level of SCCA Nationals racing

| Good Mat Mladin Article |

Mladin writes every now and then for superbikeplanet.com and he just wrote an article about the recent pre-season test he completed at Philip Island Australia. This test was particularly interesting because on the same weekend the WSBK championship winning Alstare Suzuki team was testing, so of course everyone was waiting with baited breath to see who was faster.
Turns out Mladin set the fastest time of the test, but it should be noted that he is running Dunlops while the WSBK boys are running a spec Pirelli which is known to be significantly slower. Still, he had a bit to say about it:

I think Mat can be a real asshole (certainly didn't seem very friendly in person) but he def makes some good points from time to time.
